Currently, the database dump of NC we received last night (not yesterday, during this night) is huge. Bigger than we actually expected.
The test migrations last week were way smaller and faster. However, the current database migration is very, very slow. Maybe some of you working in IT handling huge databases might agree that migrations are a pain.
This causes a huge delay for us.
We are impatient as well. Keep in mind that most of us did an all nighter last night and didn't have sleep for about more than 24 hours. Eoghan for example didn't sleep at all for more than 30 hours.
We are not able to keep you updated that fast as the CMs themself are handling other issues at the same time (website e.g.).

We can't give you an estimation for now as we are not able to judge how long it will take with the current progress. It might take another hour, it might take 4 more hours..., nothing we can estimate right now...

And to reply to "yeah you have so many people, why don't you make it faster?". 40 people standing infront of a database import doesn't make it faster rather than wasting resources right now. It doesn't change the fact that the import is an automated system (a script for the ones knowing how to import databases) that can't be influenced by 80 hands.

So far the accounts are fine, just to calm you down.
We do not want to tease anyone as we are also at our limits right now.

We are sorry for not being able to activate the servers right now. We would love to have them online for hours already and you to enjoy the game by now.
Unfortunately, it isn't that way.

Bonsoir à toutes et à tous !! voilà 2 ans que je ne jouais plus à Aion, mais le free to play m'a redonné envie !!
J'ai pris mon après-midi pour rien on dirait et je ne suis pas le seul ! sinon allez faire une bonne nuit de sommeil et çà ira mieux demain !!!

Pour info le CM à dit sur le fofo il y a quelque minute quil bosse toujours sur les serveurs et qu'il font leur max pour que ce soi UP avant minuit

Pour résumer pour ceux qui ne comprennent pas l'anglais. La migration des données NCSOFT vers Gameforge prend plus de temps que prévu. Des tests effectués la semaine dernière ont été plus rapides car sur une base plus petite.
Les comptes sont préservés. Ils ne peuvent pas accélérer le processus, l'opération est lancée.
