Playable Races Available for This Class
This class specializes in sword combat to deliver a variety of attacks. Using their sword they utilize skills like the "Batto Jutsu" technique to attack or defend against their enemies. Blade Masters are quite good at parrying their enemies blows, leaving them vulnerable to effective counter attacks. They don't always rely on close combat to bring their enemies down, they can use a flying sword technique that will harm their enemies from afar.
The Blade Master is a 'Warrior' class but instead of face tanking like Destroyers, Blade Masters avoid damage by evading or parrying enemy attacks. The Blade Master then responds by attacking his opponents weak points. Blade Masters use the Sword Chi to block or evade melee attacks, or they can also go on the offensive and thrust their opponents with great force.
The difficulty level of the Blade Master is about medium, the control itself is not too hard but timing the Evade or Parry skills could be a bit challenging at times. This class will definitely take some time to master.
Blade Masters use Chi Sword to call forth their abilities. A point is added to the Blade Masters Sword Chi bar every time a combo or special move is used. Depending on how difficult the combo is or how hard the ability hits the more Sword Chi points are consumed. Here's an image of what their status bars (HP/SC/Qing Gong) will look like:
Blade Master Skills
This skill list will be updated as we continue to get more information! We are still looking for others as well as specific details on each skill, details such as power cost and cool down time, assuming they even have cool downs. As always, stay tuned!
A skill where you deflect your enemy's attack with your sword. If you successfully Parry, your target will be groggy for 3 seconds and won't be able to attack. This skill will enable the Thrust and Kick skills.
You kick your enemy with great force knocking them back. This skill is best used after a successful Parry. You can use Sword Gust on the knocked back enemy to cause them to become unconscious, which will allow you to hit them a bit more. You can also Charge your enemy after using this ability, stunning them for a short moment.
You charge towards you enemy and thrust them. This skill is useful to close a distance between a far away opponent. After you charge, the enemy becomes stunned for a short moment. During the stun if you initiate a Lower slash skill the enemy will be knocked down, which will enable the Stomp and Stab skill.
You immediately evade an enemy's attack. With this skill you can hit the enemy from their weak point. After a successful evade you can use Rising Kick or Kick to initiate a different combo, it is hard to time the evade properly.
Recommended Blade Master Combo
Block -> Kick -> Thrust -> Charge -> Lower Slash -> Stomp -> Stab
This is the basic combo for a Blade Master. You Parry an attack and Kick or Thrust as a follow up. Afterward you Charge at the knocked back enemy, following up with a Lower Slash and finishing it off with a Stomp or Stab.
[Blade Master Tip] Analyze Your Enemy While Fighting.
The Blade Master, compared to other melee characters doesn't have grappling or limb twisting types of skills. Instead they evade an attack and attack the exposed weak spot. Also they have a quick charge that lets them quickly close a far distance between the Blade Master and their enemy. So use it wisely! Instead of doing a mindless slashing attack, it is good to plan your strategy depending on your enemy and killing them. This game requires a little more thought and effort than mindless button mashing.

Playable Races Available for This Class
This class utilizes their own fists and feet to defeat their enemies. Most of the Kung-Fu Master's attacks are delivered in combos for fast and very effective melee ranged blows. With such quick reflexes Kung-Fu Master's can attack and defend with ease, able to react to even the most dire situation as quickly as possible. They have absolutely no problem taking the advantage over their enemies during battle with such speed. Their defense and offense abilities are very fluid, like water, and with a variety of combos it really takes a lot of practice to use them efficiently.
Kung-Fu Master's have a defensive stance for more survivability. While using defensive stance they can still attack fairly quickly, they can also take advantage of their enemy's weaknesses to quickly sustain them or to deliver deadly combo attacks.
Kung-Fu Masters use the Fighting Spirit resource, each combo will award you a Fighting Spirit point. Fighting Spirit is an essential energy resource for a Kung-Fu Master. Kung-Fu Masters have the most combos out of all the classes so your decision making is really important.
Kung-Fu Masters use Fighting Spirit to call forth their abilities. A point is added to the Kung-Fu Masters Fighting Spirit bar every time a combo or special move is used. Depending on how difficult the combo is or how hard the ability hits the more Fighting Spirit points are consumed. Here's an image of what their status bars (HP/FS/Qing Gong) will look like:

While you are blocking your enemy's attack you aim for their weak spot and attack them, which will put them in a groggy state. However, this will be useless if you don't time it perfectly. Afterward you can follow it up with Explosive Fist, Force Fist, Triple Kick Combo or Dominate (mount target).
This is the most standard attack for a Kung-Fu Master and acts as the beginning of most combos. A standard combo that utilizes this ability would be Punch -> Strong Punch -> Tornado Kick -> Explosive Fist. This skill also gives you Fighting Spirit.
After blocking or preforming a counter attack and putting your enemy in to a groggy state this skill will be enabled, this will allow you to mount on top of your enemy. This will enable the Kung-Fu Master's specialties; Grapple and Joint Twisting.
When you get knocked down from an enemy's attack, you will initiate a spin kick to attack the enemies around you and get back up on your feet. If an enemy gets hit by this attack they'll receive damage and get put in a groggy state for 4 seconds. This is a key skill to make a bad situation good for the Kung-Fu Master. It's the type of skill that can turn the tides in a battle.
Recommended Kung-Fu Master Combos
Punch [R] -> Strong Punch [R] -> Tornado Kick [R] -> Explosive Fist [2]
The above is the most standard combo for a Kung-Fu Master. It works by building up Fighting Spirit through the first three attacks, once you have enough Fighting Spirit from those three you can then use Explosive Fist to complete the combo. The R key, Blade & Soul's action key enables the above four skills in order as you press it, which makes that skill the standard combo.
Force Punch [4] -> Jump Stomp [R] -> Trample [R]
Force Punch delivers a devastating attack to an enemy in melee distance, it causes 181% damage and 105~130 added damage while also sending an enemy flying back about 15m. If you use this skill on a target that is unconscious or groggy it will put them in a groggy state after the knock back. If the enemy is in groggy state after the Force Punch, you can then follow it up with a Jump Stomp to knock the enemy down. You will then recover your Fighting Spirit by using Trample on the downed enemy.
[Kung-Fu Master Tip] Be Careful with Outnumbered Fights! Figure Out Those Combos!
Kung-Fu Masters are quick with their defense and offense so they almost always are the one on the top in 1:1 situations is played masterfully, however since they don't have a whole lot of AoE type skills it is hard to fight multiple enemies. If they would party with a Destroyer, they could be a perfect duo to devastate many enemies in one place and finishing them off quickly and efficiently.
Also, depending on the enemy's state they have different combos. For example if they are groggy, down, or unconscious quickly figure out their state and use the combo that is most efficient for that current state. This becomes the main focus of the Kung-Fu Master, figuring out the enemy's status ailment and using that to their advantage. Also they have the most flashy attacks in Blade & Soul.

Playable Races Available for This Class
The Force Master class uses their inner Chi to deliver a variety of devastating blows to their enemies. Using the Ki-Gong-Pe, a Chi bracelet they wear around their wrist, they can shoot off many different forms of abilites, ranging from fire explosions to chi leeching techniques that deliver unavoidable attacks and grabs. Force Masters are the masters of control, they can apply movement impairing effects to multiple enemies, allowing them to take on more than one foe at a time. Force Masters are closest to the wizards and magi of traditional RPGs. They can utilize powerful fire and ice elemental attacks from a distance, but have low HP.
Force Masters play quite differently from the other classes in Blade & Soul. Force Masters' systematic combos don't chain very high like the other classes in Blade & Soul. Their patterns of utilizing skills are fairly simple compared to the other classes, this places them in the "easy to control" group of classes. However, keep in mind that their lack of defense and low health make up for their ease of control. Force Masters have to be aware at all times or they will find themselves dead within a matter of seconds.
Force Masters use Inner Chi to call forth their spells. The Inner Chi gauge is very similar to the MP (mana) concept found in other MMORPG's on the market today. Every spell in the Force Masters arsenal will consume Inner Chi, eat food or drink potions to recover Inner Chi. Here's an image of what their status bars (HP/MP/Qing Gong) will look like:

Shoots an ice bolt at the targeted enemy from a distance. Targets hit with this skill have their movement speed reduced. Therefore, it is recommended that you use this skill as an opener, allowing more time to cast spells while the enemy approaches slowly. Using Frost Palm before Flame Palm will stack the Ember debuff on the target twice as fast. See Flame Palm for the Ember debuff description.
Shoots a bolt of fire at the targeted enemy from a distance. This ability stacks the Ember effect debuff on the enemy target, stacking up to five times. The greater the stacks of Ember on the target, the more damage is dealt when using this ability. Use this ability after casting Frost Palm once, this will stack the Ember debuff on the target twice as fast, follow up this spell with Shock Wave.
This skill deals direct damage to a target. This ability has short reach, instant cast, cooldown, and low MP cost, making this skill an ideal normal attack for Force Masters. This abilities damage is greatly increased depending on the amount of Ember debuff stacks are currently on the target.
Pull a target up in the air for 3 seconds by grabbing the target bu their neck with chi. This skill does deal initial damage on use and damage over time, but it is recommended that you use either "Chi Push", "Seal", or "Absorb" to deal even more damage directly after this spells use. It is currently unknown what the "Seal" and "Absorb" abilities do, but we do know that the "Chi Push" ability sends the enemy target flying backwards away from the Force Master.
Recommended Force Master Combo
Frost Palm [F] -> Flame Palm [R] -> Shock Wave [1] (when target gets close)
You want to reduce movement speed of a target by using Frost Palm first, then begin to cast Flame Palm multiple times to deal more damage and to stack the Ember debuff effect on the enemy target. If the enemy gets close, you should finish it up with Shock Wave, the more Ember debuff stacks on the target, the more damage Shock Wave will do. This is the most basic and frequently used skill chaining pattern. However, you must keep your eyes on the Inner Chi gauge since this pattern requires a lot of Chi.
Chi Choke [4] -> Chi Push [1]/Seal [2]/Absorb [3]
Chi Choke will allow you to use Chi Push, Seal, and Absorb on the choking target. One thing to watch out for is that if you Chi Push a target into a group of mobs, you might pull aggro and have those additional mobs run your way. Hence, it is best to use this skill in a direction where there are no other mobs.
[Force Master Tip] Always Keep an Eye on Your Chi (MP)!
Force Masters rely on their Inner Chi to fight, and might run out after dealing with 2 to 3 mobs. If you enter into another battle without noticing your empty Inner Chi gauge, you will suffer great consequence. Therefore, it is best to check on it between each battles. Luckily in the demo, you will be provided with endless amounts of potions and food that will recover HP/MP right away. Do not hesitate to use these!
Keep in mind, this only speaks for low level Force Master gamplay. We have yet to experience a high level Force Master, MP gauges will more than likely increase, allowing you to effectively kill more mobs before running dry.

Destroyer's power comes from their immense physical strength. They wield large axes to deliver fatal blows to their enemy targets. They also enjoy taking advantage of their winning situations, grabbing enemy corpses and tossing them at other foes. Hell, they will grab anything in their sight to toss at their enemies. Destroyers have great defense making it easier to deal with melee attackers and multiple enemies at once. Destroyer bodies were trained to withstand even the harshest attack, they often become the strong root of their allies.
Destroyers are the classic short distance, slow and heavy hitting fighters. Almost all of their skills are offensive and contain splash damage. With such a powerful and gargantuan weapon, the Destroyers excel at fighting multiple mobs at once. In fact, they are currently the best AoE damaging class currently in the game.
Although they have combos that chain up to 5 skills, you can't seen to find an enemy target in the demo that doesn't just fall over before the chain actually ends. The Destroyer is just that powerful!
Destroyers use Rage to call forth their devastating abilities. When a Destroyer lands a simple attack he/she will gain Rage. They will need a certain amount of Rage in order to call out the more devastating abilities. Once those abilities are used they will consume the Rage. Unlike the Force Master's Inner Chi (Mana) the Rage bar starts at zero and increases as you attack. The Rage bar will deminish back down to zero if not attacking. Here's an image of what their status bars (HP/Rage/Qing Gong) will look like:
This Rage bar is currently at zero. Attack to make it increase.
Destroyer Skills
This skill list will be updated as we continue to get more information! We are still looking for others as well as specific details on each skill, details such as power cost and cool down time, assuming they even have cool downs. As always, stay tuned!
Slam your weapon down on an enemy in front of you with an axe. With high damage and low "Rage" cost, this skill comes very useful in early stages of the game. After you Kick your enemy and hurl him to the floor follow up with Destruction.
This is the only skill in the demo that has no rage cost. Use this ability often to collect rage. You can start the "Judgment -> Retribution -> Heaven's Fury" combo with this skill.
Destroyer swings the axe in a large circular motion attacking nearby mobs. Use this ability when fighting multiple mobs. This ability requires rage so be sure to collect some using Judgment first.
The Destroyer explodes a wave of rage around him/her, falling into a state of "Rage". In this state, skills change into special "Rage" state skills. For example the skill "Gale" becomes "Raging Gale" which is stronger, causing massive amounts of damage. The rage state finishes when the rage bar runs out or when the time limit on this ability runs out, whichever comes first.
Recommended Destroyer Combos
Judgment [R] -> Retribution -> Heaven's Fury -> Kick -> Destruction [F]
After using the first 3 skills in a regular combo, knock the enemy down with "Kick" and slam it down with "Destruction". This is the strongest combo in the demo. It's just sad that no mob survives through this combo after getting 'Kicked'. The "Kick" timing after the 3 hit combo is quite hard to grasp, and if you do it in the wrong direction, you might pull nearby mobs onto yourself.
Lift enemy in mid-air [3] -> Slam [F]
After managing to get the enemy in mid-air, the Destroyer catches the enemy with his axe and directly slams the enemy down on the ground. This recommended skill deals tremendous damage and yields a spectacular display of effects. Once you hit the enemy, he/she will be placed in mid-air for about 2 seconds, you should then quickly push [F] to execute Slam.
Keep in mind that you can still be attacked even if you are airborne. You must refrain from using this skill when you are facing a large number of mobs.
[Destroyer Tip] Watch Your Health!
With high HP and splash damage skills, Destroyers often hunt multiple mobs at once. Their skill "Rage" can hit about 7 to 8 targets at a time. While you are staring at your character in awe of the game's beautiful combat, you must keep in mind that your HP is going down. Destroyers have skills that require long periods of motion. Therefore there is a high delay or refraining period. Remember that [5] is linked to HP potions that will heal you instantly, don't be afraid to use them!
