ci-dessous les questions et réponses très instructives des développeurs suite aux retours des testeurs de la CB1:
la source officielle est sur archeage.com traduit en russe sur goha.ru et traduit en anglais sur http://community.archeage-online.com...-official-faq/ Q: There's a cool in-game day/night cycle. However, it gets very difficult to see anything during nighttime. Will anything be done about it? A: Complete darkness falls upon the world only during midnight and lasts for a short time. We are planning on introducing objects, such as torches which will allow you to illuminate an area around the player. Q: In the first CBT there was no punishment or reward for PvP/PK. Will that change? A: Our first CBT wasn't meant to test pvp/fighting system. The next CBT will address these issues. Q: Automatic acquisition and leveling of skills isn't that interesting. Will there be any changes? A: Skill mechanics and leveling will be changed in the future. Q: Will the horse's speed increase if I ride it for a long time? A: The actual riding speed will not change however we are planning on implementing additional skills for advanced horseback riding. Q: How exactly will the boss raids go if there are no separate classes? A: Your role in a raid will depend on your 3 specializations. There's no ideal combination, so there will be different strategies for defeating your enemies. Q: Why is there so little equipment customization available (so few armor/weapon sets)? A: In the next CBT we will introduce attributes and item sets bonuses as well as various armor/weapon combinations. Q: Why can't I dismount my opponent? A: In the future, there will be many ways to dismount another player. Q: Mounted combat is difficult and doesn't give any bonuses in a battle. Will anything change? A: We will optimize mounted combat, but it will not give you any extra fighting advantages other than mobility. Q: It gets very annoying to see a name above every single item. Is there a way to turn that option off? A: Yes, you will be able to turn off that feature in your settings menu. Q: Do I have to constantly look after (water/fertilize) my garden or will the plants grow by themselves? A: As of this moment you can't change plant growth. However in the future there will be options to affect cultivation. Q: It's very difficult to tell which skill your party member (or enemy) is using. Can you do anything about it? A: We are working on creating separate animations for every single skill. We will work on optimizing the system until all of the skills can become recognizable. Q: Will there be any defense bonuses of various armor types against different weapons? A: Cloth has a poor defense against cutting/stabbing attacks. Cuirass is weak against (blunt?) damage. We will balance the system for the second CBT. Q: I don't think that the symbols which you pick after lvl 20 are that versatile. Will there be more options? A: We already developed many skills which take into consideration distance, height, area of effect and damage to an opponent. This will allow you to make your character highly specialized in one area if you chose to do so. Q: It's very difficult to find a new quest unless it's marked on the map. Can that be changed? A: The whole quest content and quest storyline will be completely changed by the 2nd CBT. Q: Help! My plants constantly have some kind of debuff/negative effect on them. Can I do anything about it? A: Yes, you can safely grow them in your own house yard or use other defensive methods for plant growth. Q: It's very easy to get lost in the main city. A: In the future we'll simplify the process of locating NPCs. We will also implement a map which can be used by a player when he/she is inside the city. Q: Damage numbers are written with a dash (" -" symbol). It's unusual and confusing. A: We will look into this problem. Q: Group system doesn't work very well. I can accidentally damage a member of my party while monster hunting. A: The whole party system will be redone and optimized by 2nd CBT. Q: House building system is very confusing. Can anything be done? A: Yes, we will introduce more house building menu options and controls. Q: Are there any limitations on where a person can build a house? For example, a guild is building it's own city and suddenly a newbie is starting to build his own small hovel in the middle of it. A: We are planning to allow land purchase and possibly rent options for land owners. Q: There might be a problem with house building, seeing as there's limited amount of space in the world of ArcheAge. Perhaps the price of house building should be raised? A: Prices for basic houses are low, but larger houses are going to be much more expensive. We are also working right now on different kinds of housing. Q: How about prohibiting people from building more than one house. Otherwise, some people will have many houses and others none and the gap between rich and poor will become quite noticeable. A: We will limit the amount of houses one account/character can have. We haven't been working on this problem yet. Everything might change. Q: Dialogue system for the quests is fun and innovative, but we don't have enough time to read through all of the text. A: We will fix that and adjust the time text is shown based on it's length. Q: Monsters, characters and surrounding don't really match. Will you change anything? A: First CBT was just an experiment. We will fix everything in the future. Q: It's very difficult to walk around without a mini-map. A: We are planning to implement a feature which will allow the player to adjust the size of his/her map and add their own information to it so it will be possible to use that as an individual mini-map. Q: Players can lead a mob behind a rock or a tree which allows them to kill it without problems. Will anything be done about it? A: We will implement various behaviors for monsters and NPCs which will add realism and dynamics to the game. Q: Sometimes players can't even find their own house among others. Help! A: There will be an option to place individual signs on the front of the house (example:This house belongs to the great and powerful Wizard of Oz ) so players will be able to find their houses and houses of friends. Q: User Interface doesn't look too nice. Will you change it? A: User interface will be improved by 2nd CBT. Q: Will we have an option to change the interior of the house and move furniture? A: Yes, you will be able to move objects inside the house. Q: Please allow us more time to test during CBT. (looks like the testers are in game only during the time that developers are online) A: We will allow for a more flexible testing schedule for 2nd CBT and will let testers play even when developers are on a break. Q: Can we have a separate way for communication for people, who built houses in the same village? (like a separate chat) A: We are planning to create separate in-game message boards for people in the same neighborhood. Q: Some of the spontaneous quests were fun! Can we have more? (Players would receive an automatic quest if they find themselves in specific circumstances) A: Yes, we will add more quests like that. Q: Why can I pick up loot from a monster that someone else killed? A: As we said, we aren't done changing and fixing group interactions. Everything will be fixed. |
