A Look Ahead

I. Memorial Day Weekend Bonuses
Memorial day weekend is just around the corner here in the United States and in honor of the many veterans that play and have played, we'll be granting some hefty bonuses to crafting, experience, realm, and bounty points!

The following bonuses will start this Friday, May 22nd and run until next Friday, May 29th.

On Ywain:
50% bonus to RP gain in all NF zones (including The Labyrinth)
100% bonus to RP gain in Darkness Falls
100% bonus to normal XP gain in all classic zones and dungeons.
200% bonus to normal XP gain in Darkness Falls.
100% bonus to normal BP in all NF zones.

On Gaheris:
100% bonus to normal XP gain in all classic zones and dungeons.
200% bonus to normal XP gain in Darkness Falls.
100% bonus to normal BP gain in the capital cities.
100% bonus to normal RP gain in the capital cities.

In each Capital City:
40% Bonus to Crafting Speed
20% Bonus to Crafting Skill Gain

In all Housing Zones:
20% Bonus to Crafting Speed
10% Bonus to Crafting Skill Gain

II. Get some DAoC loot!

If you've been waiting to load up on DAoC apparel for yourself or needed a DAOC gift to buy for that special someone, the wait is finally over!

T-shirts. Mousepads. Notebooks. USB Drives. Bibs... If you can put a logo on it, our new Zazzle store probably has it with newly minted Knot and Realm logos to boot! We're in the process of adding more items to the store too, so if you don't see what you want now, check back in a few days!

III. 1.118 Patch Update

We plan on having 1.118 go to our Pendragon test server in just the next 2 weeks!

IV. Player Accolades and Remembrances

Dark Age of Camelot is a great game for many reasons but our favorite reason is you: our community! Without you all we wouldn't have a game to enjoy, especially one that's lasted 13 and a half years and is still going strong.

With that, we'd like to take the time in this and each subsequent newsletter to congratulate any players who have been married or had a child recently and remember those who are sadly no longer with us.

Accolades

Shinyy and his wife would like to welcome their new baby girl, Andriana, to the world. She was born on May 3rd at 8:25 AM EST!

Best Wishes

At the behest of Fugo, we would like to wish Serima, a veteran Albion player, the best of luck and a full recovery in his fight against laryngeal cancer.

V. Knight Application Updates

As promised, we launched our Knight Program and Internal Forums application in the last newsletter. The response has been overwhelming! It's been very hard choosing among the many excellent applications.

As stated, we're looking to grow our number from the current 11 to 20 Knights. We aren't ready to fill all of the slots with this newsletter announcement but we do have 4 new Knights we'd like to welcome as well as offer a brief outline of their main responsibilities in the program:

Tald - New player guides and events
Aendam - Podcasting, creating video guides, and streaming
Cyrric - Streaming, events, and testing
Kujii - Streaming RvR and organizing RvR events

We'll also be taking several internal forum members in the coming weeks so fear not if you aren't picked as a Knight, there will still be other opportunities to help us improve the game!

VII. What's Coming

Midsummer's Inaugural Event
Summer time has always been a blast in Dark Age of Camelot but this year we're excited to be adding a new Midsummer Event to the mix! A new event will of course mean new rewards; but these won't be earned by just completing a PvE quest, you'll have to get your hands dirty in RvR!

5v5 Tournament

We're still working with the Knights to iron out the rules, prizes, and timeline for the free-for-all 5v5 tournament on Pendragon. Our tentative goal is to have it in late June or early July to allow everyone enough time to prepare. More information to follow so keep your eyes here and on the Camelot Herald!

User Interface

Work on integrating BobsUI continues. We're busy normalizing the look and layout of its windows and picking the 'default' state of the UI. You can expect to see the first batch of changes this summer!

New Account Center

We spoke last newsletter about the new Account Center coming: it's completely revamped from the ground up in look, user-flow, and features. That said, we want to launch this as smoothly as possible and so we've decided to take a few extra months to test it. We expect to roll it out this next fall and are excited to make returning to the game easier than ever.

Camelot Herald

Details on the Herald revamp and re-skin are being worked out as you read this. We're still aiming to have the new site up and running by the end of the year!

T'es difficile !

Je me serais bien laissé tenter par un T shirt, mais j'avais souvenir d'autre designs quand ils en avaient parlé auparavant.

C'est cher car ce n'est pas eux qui fabrique il passe par un tier, qui gère pour eux les stocks, eu ils vont gagner quoi 2 $ sur un truc à 20....

je dirais pas non a un sweat shirt avec le logo daoc (pas alb, hib ou mid), mais a part taille gosses je trouve pas :s

possible de remonter l'info et corriger ça svp ? @carol @Fugo

J'ai pris pas mal de plaisir à refaire Muire Tomb même solo.
Ça donne une alternative aux bg tout en restant rapide.

C'est déjà en place ce up des donjons?

Donc là seul en place pour l'instant c'est Muire.
Il y a 3 quêtes à prendre au camp (tp depuis mag mell, tnb, etc) à côté du dongeon ou il faut tuer 3 boss, donc 9 au total.
Avec mon faucheur et mon barde bot j'y suis allé au lvl 15 et suis ressorti au 21.
Les mobs drop de l'armure, des armes et bijoux style bg en permanence et les boss des items avec decap.

A moi au lvl 10 up lvl 15 plus rentable du coup de la faire au lvl 15=)

Par contre au lvl 20 on gagne rien =)

Ca existe déjà : +1 Postount, comme JOL a été le forum officiel de DAOC.
Ils sont déjà submergés avec tout le taff qu'ils ont : mettre +5 aux items, changer la couleur du flashy, changer le script du mob dont tout le monde se fout.

Tu veux en plus qu'ils fassent gardes chiourmes ?
