"Each time I log into SecondLife, I lose some items in my inventory (about 20,000 items). I have tried to clear my cache and to log in again, but the problem persists. I also tried to let the inventory fetch. But some of my folders appear as if they were empty instead of appear as 'loading...'. I have to uninstall/reinstall the viewer to get my items back. This inventory failure happens each time I log in since Tuesday, January 20th. I hope you will be able to help me with this worrying problem."
Et voici la réponse :
"Hello Lalibella,
Thanks for contacting Second Life Support.
From your description of your problem it sounds as if your inventory may not be lost but that it may not loading properly for you. I still see 30,000 + items should be in your inventory.
In many cases, your items will load properly if you clear Second Life's cache using the following steps:
1. Go to Edit > Preferences on the menu bar.
2. Click the Network tab.
3. Click the Clear Cache button.
4. Exit Second Life.
5. Log back into Second Life to a quiet region such as Lime.
6. Wait in place for 5 minutes before opening your inventory; Second Life needs to reload much of your previously cached information
I have also run a process which often helps clear inventory item issues such as you are experiencing. This ticket is marked as a final solution, however should this not resolve your problem please feel free to reopen it.
Many Thanks,
~ Amber"
