I send you this MP cause I read on the site that all bug abuses must be reported in private to a member of eAcceleration staff.
I want to tell you about bug abuses on T4C about the "Sanctuary" spell:
The official definition of sanctuary (given by Vircom) is:
Official Description: Protects the caster from all bodily harm for a short period of time.

This means that it must be impossible to make damages to someone who uses sanctuary.
Anyone who makes damages to one who uses sanctuary spell is a bug abuser.
But some players have find ways to do so (I will not name they here unless you ask).
1/ The most known bug is armlet of flamme one (You can make damages to one who sanct and who keep the armlet of flamme activated). This is a common bug abuse
2/ Another less known bug is the one of Halberd and boosted AP (Armor penetration). It appears that there is a bug and when you wear Runed Halberd (+20 AP) with some items that boost AP, you can reach 145 AP, and then the calculation of damages is bugged: you can kill someone in sanctuary with a VERY powerful shot (some players died with a 3000 HP shot of Runed Halberd during sanctuary). Some say the same bug would exist with the Cristal Sword Of Might (+15 AP) but I don't know if it's true. (For Halberd I'm sure it's true). This may be a bug in the damage formula: I think with a high AP, a high AC is not protecting, but making more vulnerable. I'm not sure of the cause of the AP bug (not sure this is due to the formula, but the AP MUST be boosted to have this effect).
So I want to know if eAcceleration is planning to do something against that.
So to help you I see many solutions:
For the Runed Halberd bug:
1/ Look if the damage formula is bugged and try to correct it
2/ Modify the Runed Halberd effects: Instead of +20 AP, it could give +20 PB (Powerful Blow) for example.
3/ Modify the sanctuary: For example, give a very very high dodge to the caster
4/ Try to detect weather the death happens during sanctuary, and if so, detect the bug abusers
For the armlet of flamme bug:
1/ Modify the armlet of flamme power against sanctuary
2/ Modify the sanctuary: make it impossible to use the gem of flamme during sanctuary
3/ Try to detect bug abusers
I think these problems are VERY important and solutions are recquired on the Chaos, Myth and Play servers cause it MUST be impossible to kill someone who casted sanctuary spell according to the official description of the spell.
I hope I helped you solving the problems and I'm sure that you will find a solution to this.

Donc en gros j'explique que je considère que pouvoir se prendre des damage lorsqu'on sanctu c'est un bug, en accord avec la définition officielle du sanctu, c'est a dire celle donnée par Vircom: Protects the caster from all bodily harm for a short period of time. (Protège le "lanceur du sort" de tout dommages corporels pendant une courte période)

(Que je traduis par: on dirait plutot que la définition n'est pas bonne, aucun sort ne donne de totale protection etc etc etc...).
Et là je me gausse grassement car la définition que j'ai donné est celle de Vircom, et que Gryvine ne se base sur absolument RIEN pour me contredire.
Je concluerai par: le staff eA est incompétent en matière de T4C. Ca se voit dans les ajouts, ca se voit dans ce mail. Mais au fait, ca n'est pas la première fois qu'on le dit, tous les jours on lit sur ce forum des nouveaux messages "cassant" le staff eA. Je note cependant que pour certains quand le staff eA va dans leur sens, il devient tout de suite moins incompétent, des gens qui n'hésitent pas à traiter Jester de con vont tout à coup dans son sens...
Si vous voulez répondre, basez vous sur le texte en rouge, pas sur les détails du mail.

Let's just talk about Runed Halberd, not Armlet Of Flamme:
- First, The description of the spell given by Vircom does not tell that sanctuary is a spell to use against monsters. And if it was a spell to use against monsters only, it would not affect PVP. The description does not mention PVP or PVM. The spell is supposed to give a full protection against all bodily harm. I will post on t4cbible forums to know if the description is right or wrong.
- Second thing VERY important: The Runed Halberd with a high AP makes more damages on one who uses sanctuary than one not using it. (hope you understand what I mean, my english is not good). I think that it's not normal.
I mean: A player with 9000 CA and 3000 HP can be one shot bye a Runed Halberd with high AP. A player with 250 CA and 3000 HP can not be one shot bye a Runed Halberd even with a high AP.
I'm sure there is a bug somewhere, and some player know the bug and are abusing of it."
