OVERVIEW
The Elder Scrolls Online v2.7.1 is the first incremental patch for the PTS that mainly focuses on fixing issues surrounding our player housing system including homes, furnishings, and the housing editor. Please note that we’re still evaluating our recent balance changes in regards to classes and combat, and plan to make adjustments based on data and your feedback in next week’s patch. You can expect the size of this patch to be approximately 145MB.

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS, DARK BROTHERHOOD DLC GAME PACK

Exploration & Itemization
Merchants
  • Updated the descriptions for the Dark Ledger and Preserved Sweetrolls items, found on the Achievement Furnisher in the Gold Coast.

Art & Animation
General
  • You can now properly dye the Colovian Filigreed Hood and Colovian Fur Hood, obtained from the New Life Festival.

    • Medium Soul Shriven boots
    • Medium Dark Brotherhood boots

Combat & Gameplay
General
  • Fixed an issue where casting an ability to quickly dismount was not displaying some or all of that ability's visual effects to other player characters.
  • Increased the Dual Wield Weapon and Spell Damage penalty by roughly 3%. Weapon and Spell Damage while Dual Wielding (without modifiers) is now equal to using a Two Handed weapon.
    • Note: This change was included in the 2.7.0 patch, but the patch note was unintentionally missed.

Weapons
  • Restoration Staff
    • Regeneration: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs were not correctly prioritizing low-health targets that did not already have the Heal over Time applied.

Crafting
  • All purple and gold recipes now confirm your intent when you try to destroy them in your inventory.
  • Corrected naming mismatches for a number of crafted furniture items and their recipes.
  • Increased the skill and material requirements to make the item Wood Elf Trough, Slop. It's a nice trough, you see.
  • Removed a small number of recipes for furnishings not intended to be crafted.
  • Removed duplicate wording in a small number of recipes and furnishing names.
  • The cooking fire near Donalir in Eyevea can now be used when you are not surrounded by Daedra. It's much safer and easier this way.
  • Updated the names on various recipes for Redguard canopies, mats, and runners.

Crown Store & Crown Crates
Personalities
  • Commander Personality
    • Robes will no longer distort while walking with this personality.

Exploration & Itemization

  • Fixed an issue where many item sets, including those found on vendors from capturing towns in Cyrodiil, were sourcing Rings and Necklaces at a 50/50 ratio. They are now sourcing Rings more often than Necklaces, as originally intended.
  • Fixed an issue where some items in the Shadow Dancer's Raiment item set did not drop with the correct default Enchantment. Weapons in this item set now drop with the Absorb Magicka enchantment.

Housing
Furnishings
  • Corrected the bind-type on a large number of furnishings.
  • Crafting Tables placed in your home will no longer display health bars when targeted, because you can't kill a crafting table…

  • Fixed an issue where some PvP-specific achievement furnishings were displaying as the incorrect alliance.
  • Target Skeletons placed in homes will now properly glow yellow and red when appropriate.
  • Updated the Bowl of Blood, found on the Achievement Furnisher in Rivenspire. This item is now named "Crimson-Stained Bowl", and has a new description.
  • Updated the furnishing "Crafting Station, Enchanting" to match its fellows in visual quality.

OVERVIEW
The Elder Scrolls Online v2.7.2 adds additional balance tweaks and adjustments to all four classes, item sets, and other skill lines. We’ve also fixed a number of issues surrounding housing, furnishings, the editor, and furnishing crafting. You’ll find that we’ve added Developer Comments to some patch notes that should help give you some insight as to why we’ve made the changes we did.

In this patch, we’ve copied all PC EU characters for use in testing. Please note we are still working on a fix for our players on Mac who are running into consistent game crashes.

Thank you to everyone for all your feedback so far! We’d love to hear what you think of this latest patch after you’re able to test out the changes which is approximately 185MB in size.

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS, IMPERIAL CITY DLC GAME PACK

Exploration & Itemization
General
  • Removed some errant jewelry traits from the Tel Var-purchased boxes in Imperial City. Now, the Jewelry pieces obtained from those boxes will only contain the trait that matches their armor weight:
    • Light armor sets will have Arcane.
    • Medium armor sets will have Robust.
    • Heavy armor sets will have Healthy.
    • Imperial Physique, being available in all three armor weights, has all three jewelry traits.

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS, BASE GAME PATCH

Alliance War
General
  • Increased the base amount of AP for capturing resources to 1,500 AP.
  • Increased the base amount of AP for capturing a keep to 6,000 AP.
  • Increased the base amount of AP for capturing a town to 1,500 AP.
  • Increased the base amount of AP for capturing an Imperial City District to 1,500 AP.

Art & Animation
Animation
  • Barrel and crate lids will no longer hover above their bases.
  • Fixed an issue where weapon swapping while on your mount would interrupt your mount’s animations.

Figure
  • The New Life Monk's Cap now displays all proper dye channels.

Combat & Gameplay
General
  • Fixed an issue where abilities that remove and grant immunity to snares and roots (Shuffle, Forward Momentum, Rapid Maneuvers, etc.) were only working against snares but not working against roots.
  • Fixed an issue where some weapon abilities (Blade Cloak, Volley, and Wall of Elements) could not proc Weapon Enchantments.

Dragonknight
  • Ardent Flame
    • Fiery Grip:
      • This ability and its morphs can no longer be dodged.
      • This ability and its morphs now grant Major Expedition for 6 seconds, down from 8 seconds.
Developer Comments
To improve Fiery Grip’s reliability, we changed it so the projectile (and subsequent pull/push) cannot be dodged. This ensures that enemies using Roll Dodge or Major Evasion do not cause your Fiery Grip cast to be wasted, and makes the Empowering Chains morph (which pushes you to the target) behave consistently with other charge abilities. The Major Expedition buff granted by it was reduced slightly to compensate. Since Fiery Grip is an unusual projectile due to being undodgable and unreflectable, its tooltip has been updated for additional clarity.

  • Draconic Power
    • Dragon Leap:
      • The damage and knockback from this ability and its morphs can no longer be dodged.
      • Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs were not granting the caster crowd control, snare, and immobilization immunity while they were mid-flight.
    • Ferocious Leap (Dragon Leap morph): Fixed an issue where this morph’s damage was being mitigated off the target’s Physical Resistance instead of their Spell Resistance.
Developer Comments
As part of a consistency pass to define abilities as dodgable or undodgable, Dragon Leap has been made undodgable. Area of Effect attacks should not be dodgable since they blanket an entire area with harmful effects, and should still damage enemies trying to Roll Dodge through it. You can still use Roll Dodge’s movement speed increase to avoid the Area of Effect altogether as counterplay against this ability. We’ll continue to monitor and update other Area of Effect abilities to ensure they conform to this standard.

  • Earthen Heart
    • Obsidian Shard (Stonefist morph): Fixed an issue where this morph would not fire the heal if the target blocked or absorbed the damage of the initial hit.
    • Stonefist: Increased the speed of the projectile fired by this ability and its morphs by 100%.
Developer Comments
Since Stonefist is easy to avoid or anticipate with Roll Dodge and Block, we’ve increased the projectile speed to make it easier to stun enemies.

Nightblade
  • Assassination
    • Death Stroke: Increased the cost of this ability and its morphs to 70 Ultimate from 50 Ultimate.
Developer Comments
With the Nightblade’s high Ultimate generation, Death Stroke is available too frequently for how powerful it is. Increasing the cost keeps its current burst potential while making Nightblades think more tactically about when to use it.

  • Shadow
    • Path of Darkness: Increased the damage of this ability and the Refreshing Path morph by 25%.
    • Twisting Path (Path of Darkness morph): Increased the damage of this morph by 32%.
Developer Comments
Increasing the damage of Path of Darkness will improve Magicka Nightblade DPS in PvE (both single-target and AoE), while also making the ability more attractive to use in PvP. This also won’t affect the Nightblade’s already high PvP burst damage.

Sorcerer
  • Daedric Summoning
    • Haunting Curse (Deadric Curse morph): This morph continues to explode twice per cast, but now explodes once after 3.5 seconds and again after an additional 8.5 seconds.
Developer Comments
We initially changed Haunting Curse to boost Sorcerer PvE DPS by freeing up global cooldowns. Due to the overwhelming response from the community on this change, we’ve decided to allow Curse to retain its previous PvP burst potential while being more effective in PvE. If you want to cast Haunting Curse every 3.5 seconds for fast attacks on blocking targets, that’s an option. If you’d like to get more out of your cooldowns, then only cast it every 12 seconds to get 2 explosions. The choice is yours!

Templar
  • Aedric Spear
    • Binding Javelin (Piercing Javelin morph): Reduced the cost of this morph by approximately 20%.
Developer Comments
As all Weapon skill lines have a 20% Stamina cost reduction passive, we also included this reduction with class Stamina morphs. Binding Javelin and Biting Jabs were missed when this initially happened. Fixing this bug and giving these abilities their correct costs should help Stamina Templar with some of the sustain issues they were having.

  • Biting Jabs (Puncturing Strikes morph):
    • Reduced the cost of this morph by approximately 20%.
    • The damage from this morph can no longer be dodged.

Changed as part of our overall Area of Effect consistency pass as described earlier.

  • Blazing Spear (Spear Shards morph):
    • Fixed an issue where this morph was only ticking damage 7 times instead of the intended 8.
    • The ticking damage from this morph now has the same radius as the initial damage.
  • Crescent Sweep (Radial Sweep morph): This morph now deals Physical Damage instead of Magic Damage.
  • Piercing Javelin: Increased the speed of the projectile fired by this ability and its morphs by 40%.
  • Radial Sweep: The damage from this ability and its morphs can no longer be dodged.

  • Dawn’s Wrath
    • Backlash:
      • Increased the amount of copied damage by this ability and its morphs to 20% from 18%.
      • The initial damage done by this ability and its morphs now contributes to the copied damage.
      • The copied damage is no longer reduced by Battle Spirit. Note that the final damage done at the end of the duration is still reduced by Battle Spirit.
      • Fixed an issue where damage that was absorbed by a damage shield was not being copied.
Developer Comments
We want to see Backlash as a burst damage ability that you can use in solo PvE or PvP content. To accomplish this, we not only increased the amount of copied damage, but also doubled it in Cyrodiil. This increase in Cyrodiil was to account for both Battle Spirit and the playstyles of enemies; enemy players are much harder to hit with 5 seconds of unhindered attacks. This change should open up a lot of exciting possibilities for Templars in PvP and we’d love to hear your feedback on it.

  • Radiant Destruction: Fixed an issue where the damage from this ability and its morphs was not actually reduced by 21%.
  • Restoring Light
    • Restoring Aura:
      • Fixed an issue where the Minor Magickasteal debuff from this ability and the Radiant Aura morph was not being treated as a negative effect (and thus could not be removed via purge).
      • Fixed an issue where the Minor Magickasteal debuff from this ability and the Radiant Aura morph were removing enemy player characters from sneak or invisibility.

Weapon
  • Bow
    • Hawk Eye: Increased the duration of the buff granted by this passive to 5 seconds from 4 seconds.
Developer Comments
Increasing Hawk Eye’s duration will improve Bow PvE DPS by making it easier to maintain the stack, and also prevents it from falling off while using the Rapid Fire Ultimate. The duration is still short enough to reward players using a pure Bow-focused playstyle, without buffing builds that only use Bow to throw down Volley and Poison Arrow.

  • Destruction Staff
    • Ancient Knowledge: Fixed an issue where the Lightning Staff damage done bonus was not increasing the damage on certain Area of Effect abilities such as Ritual of Retribution or Crystal Blast.
    • Elemental Storm: Reduced the damage done by this ability and the Eye of the Storm morph by 10%. The damage from Elemental Rage remains unchanged.
Developer Comments
The size of this ability coupled with the mobility of Eye of the Storm has made it extremely potent in PvP without allowing enough counterplay. Due to this, we’ve reduced the base damage but allow you to regain that damage by selecting the Elemental Rage morph. This is similar to previous changes we made to Force Shock and Uppercut – you’ll now be choosing between extra damage or extra utility.

Armor
  • Light Armor
    • Evocation: Fixed an issue where this passive ability was reducing all ability costs instead of only Magicka ability costs.
  • Heavy Armor
    • Rapid Mending: This passive now increases the amount of resources your Heavy Attacks restore by 12/25% from 25/50%.
Developer Comments
Part of the counterplay against a Heavy Armor enemy is to stop attacking them for a short period (to drop their Wrath stacks and not trigger their Constitution passive), but Rapid Mending made it so they could still restore a significant amount of resources, even if you were trying to avoid them. Reducing this should ensure Heavy Armor is more about constantly taking damage to maximize its strengths.

  • Wrath:
    • This passive now increases your Weapon and Spell Damage by 5/10 for each stack, down from 10/20, but it now stacks up to 20 times, up from 10 times.
    • Reduced the duration of this passive’s bonus to 5 seconds from 6 seconds.
Developer Comments
Shortening Wrath’s duration and allowing it take longer to build up its stacks to its full potential should allow more counterplay against Heavy Armor enemies, and take them longer to ramp up their power when engaging in combat. This also helps promote a berserker-type playstyle with Heavy Armor where you get more powerful the longer you stay in combat.

Crafting & Economy
General
  • You will now utilize stolen materials when crafting before consuming materials from the Craft Bag.

Alchemy
  • Reduced the duration of Major Vitality from potions. The base duration is now 12.5 seconds, down from 47.5 seconds.

Master Writs
  • Adjusted Master Writs so that purple items are more likely to be requested than gold items.
  • Provisioning Master Writs now require either a Food or a Drink, instead of both a Food and a Drink.
  • Master Writs that are ready for turn in no longer list their requirements in your quest tracker.
  • Increased the cost of Diminished Aetherial Dust to 50 Writ Vouchers from 25.
  • Replaced the “Poisonmaker's Satchel” pattern with a much larger and more visually impressive “Poisonmaker's Cabinet” blueprint in Rolis Hlaalu's inventory as the Satchel was already available as an Achievement Furnishing.

Crown Store & Crown Crates
General
  • Fixed an issue where some Ice Wolf Pups would occasionally have collision.

Art & Animation
  • Fixed an issue where a Crown Crate card would lift up before Pacrooti’s claw touched the deck to deal.
  • Fixed an issue where some eyelashes displayed incorrect textures when worn with a number of helmets.

Housing
  • Fixed an issue where some homes were classified as Notable homes in the Crown Store, but were actually Classic homes.
  • Fixed the image that appears in the Crown Store for the Cyrodilic Jungle House specifically in Gamepad Mode.

Personalities
  • General
    • Personalities will now display their idle and navigation in the Crown Store preview UI.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented harvesting props from appearing under certain circumstances with certain personalities.
  • Thief Personality
    • Your head will no longer twitch while walking with this personality active.

Exploration & Itemization
General
  • The Shalk found in Senie will now drop loot.

Achievements
  • Fixed an issue where the names of two manors for the Count or Countess achievement were swapped.
  • Collectibles of a given furniture category now count toward the Decorator achievement for that category.

Item Sets
  • Armor of the Trainee: Reduced the Max Magicka, Stamina, and Health granted by this item set to 1250 from 2500.
Developer Comments
Armor of the Trainee was meant as an introductory set that required no advanced strategy to utilize. The attributes it was providing were too high as you could get the same amount of Stamina that Draugr Hulk’s 5-piece provided, as well as significant Magicka and Health bonuses. This set will now provide less Stamina than the Draugr Hulk 5-piece, but more overall stats.
  • Black Rose: This item set now increases the Magicka or Stamina restored by the Constitution passive by 35%, down from 40%.
Developer Comments
Black Rose was too powerful with how much more resources it gave to the Constitution passive. Reducing this bonus slightly keeps the set viable, and balances it better against other Heavy Armor options.

  • Chokethorn: The strangler summoned by this item set now despawns when it dies.
Developer Comments

This should make all summoned monsters consistent in how they despawn when they expire. We want summoned monsters to be removed immediately for better visual fidelity and game performance.

  • Draugr Heritage: Fixed an issue where this item set’s proc could trigger before you fell below 35% Health.
  • Dreamer’s Mantle: Fixed an issue where this item set’s proc could trigger before you fell below 35% Health.
  • Maw of the Infernal: The Daedroth summoned by this item set now despawns when it dies.

  • Morag Tong: Fixed an issue where this item set was proccing on some non-damage abilities.
  • Scourge Harvester: This item set’s proc now provides Major Vitality instead of a generic non-buff category healing received bonus.
Developer Comments
Being able to stack the Scourge Harvester proc with other healing received bonuses was too powerful. With all those bonuses, enemies could quickly heal back to full health before you had time to back away and snap the tether. This can no longer stack with Major Vitality given by Potions.

  • Tremorscale: Reduced the damage done by this item set’s proc by approximately 10%.
Developer Comments
This set was meant to be a more utility-focused set for tanks with its powerful snare, but it did too much damage in builds (particularly PvP ones) that would spam Taunt abilities to kill targets.

Housing
Furnishers
  • The map pins for Achievement Furnishers and Home Good Furnishers no longer refer to these as Accolades Vendors and Home Good Vendors, respectively.
  • Narwaawende and Heralda Garscroft are now correctly shown on the City Center map pin for Mournhold, as well as the Merchant District map pin for Wayrest, and a new map pin on the first floor of Elden Root.
  • Fixed an issue where Maladdiq was incorrectly referred to as Frohilde Snow-Hair on the Furnishings map pin for Redfur Trading Post.
  • Removed an extra Achievement Furnisher from Auridon.
  • Added additional furnishings to the Home Good Furnishers in several zones.
  • Corrected several cases where items sold from Achievement Furnishers would claim to require the wrong achievement.
  • Fixed a number of minor typos in the messages that appear when you try to purchase an Achievement Furnishing that you do not quality for.

Furnishings
  • Fixed an issue that caused furnishing collectibles to not save correctly, causing them to no longer be placed when you returned to a home.
  • Added unique icons to several furnishings that were still using generic icons.
  • Books and Crafting Stations are now immediately usable to guests after being placed, instead of being unavailable until your guests exit and re-enter your home.
  • Fixed an issue specific to Gamepad Mode where Books and Crafting Stations would have two different interact prompts, only one of which worked.
  • Crafting stations no longer sometimes offer an interact prompt from much further away than intended.
  • Fixed an issue that caused several furnishings to not have any gold value.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented certain furnishings from correctly playing their audio.
  • Damage dealt to Target Skeletons are now affected by the Minor Slayer debuff.
  • Improved the behavior of the targeting reticule when you are very close to a Target Skeleton.
  • Adjusted the quality of several furnishings and furnishing recipes to better match the furnishing.
  • Adjusted the names of several furnishings to better match their appearance.
  • Renamed Colovian and Nibenese furniture to Imperial, to improve clarity.
  • Added unique flavor text to several Achievement Furnishings.
  • Updated the visual effects for several furnishings.
  • Updated the descriptions on "Nord Cart, Covered" and "Nord Cart, Cargo" to more accurately suggest their scale. Carts are pretty large.
  • Removed a non-functional interact prompt for the “Ocean Antler Coral” furnishing.
  • Improved the behavior of benches that allow more than one player character to sit at a time. They are now less likely to end up with several characters sitting in the same seat.
  • Chairs in homes no longer allow you to sit in them from further away than intended.
  • Fixed an issue where certain items in the Housing Editor Purchase tab were duplicated, occasionally under different names.

Furnishing Crafting
  • Added a number of additional high-quality furnishing recipes.
  • Adjusted the material price of several recipes. This improves consistency, and generally reduces the number of style items required.
  • Fixed several cases where a recipe and the item produced by that recipe would not utilize the same name.
  • Fixed several cases where the main tradeskill required to learn a recipe did not match the station where the recipe was crafted.

  • Fixed a UI error that could occur when clicking on an achievement at the same time as earning a different achievement.

OVERVIEW
The Elder Scrolls Online v2.7.3 includes some additional balance tweaks and bug fixes for combat, in addition to numerous fixes surrounding the player housing system. We do have a number of known issues relating to grouping and sitting in chairs, which will be addressed before this update goes live. The size of this patch is approximately 540MB.

KNOWN ISSUES

Combat & Gameplay
Grouping
  • You currently are not able to form groups of more than four players.

Housing
General
  • When sitting in chairs outside of player homes, you may run into the following issues:
    • You may pop up suddenly or awkwardly when using an emote from a chair.
    • You may appear as if you are stuck inside the chair when you stand up.
    • You may appear like you are standing next to other player characters when you are, in fact, sitting.
  • When in the Housing Editor, you can sit in a freshly-placed chair (with the issues above), but existing chairs or chairs that are edited again after fresh placement may stop working. You will get the prompt to interact, but will not actually sit.

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS, BASE GAME PATCH

Art & Animation
Animation
  • You will now consistently see the fast travel animation after you are dismounted from your mount.

Figure
  • Khajiit claws will now remain visible when equipping Yokudan medium bracers.
  • Toe claws on Khajiit and Argonian player characters will no longer clip through Dark Brotherhood medium armor sets.

Combat & Gameplay
General
  • Fixed an issue where the friendly heal from some abilities (Rite of Passage, Blood Craze, etc.) could be dodged.
  • Fixed an issue where weapon swapping to change to an item set or ability set that that granted Max Health, Stamina, or Magicka was causing unintended drops in resources.
  • Fixed an issue if your character died or received fall damage, you would occasionally become locked out from all ability usage until you reloaded that character.
  • Experience boosting holiday abilities will now overwrite one another. This means you will only ever have one such ability active on you at a time.
  • All experience increasing abilities' durations will not continue to tick down while you are offline. If you log out with time remaining on a character, that time will remain when you log back in with that character.

Dragonknight
  • Draconic Power
    • Coagulating Blood (Dragon Blood morph):
      • This morph now heals for a flat value (scaling with Spell Damage and Max Magicka), with that heal being increased by up to 33% based on your missing health.
      • Coagulating Blood: This morph no longer grants the Minor Vitality buff.
        • Known Issue: Ranks II and IV are not currently gaining a bonus to healing based on your missing health.
    • Green Dragon Blood (Dragon Blood morph): This morph now grants the Minor Vitality buff as well as Minor Endurance.

After evaluating Coagulating Blood on the PTS, we have made further changes to ensure the heal from this morph is more reliable. It now heals for a flat value scaling with your Magicka-based stats, but still retains the gameplay flavor of being an ability you want to activate when you’re at low health. This should make it a very potent option for Magicka-based Dragonknights. To counterbalance this, we moved the Minor Vitality buff to Green Dragon Blood to ensure that Health-based Dragonknights also have a strong morph option as well.

  • Dragon Leap: This ability and its morphs can now be cast while are you immobilized.
Developer Comments
We recently fixed a bug where Dragon Leap was not preventing you from being crowd controlled or immobilized mid-leap, but we have further improved this ability by making it so previously applied immobilizations are now removed when you initiate the leap. Since this is an Ultimate ability, we want its activation to be more reliable compared to other charge or leap abilities.

Nightblade
  • Assassination
    • Impale (Assassin’s Blade morph): Increased the range of this morph to 28 meters at Rank IV from 18 meters.
Developer Comments
Increasing the range on this morph to 28 meters matches the range of other Magicka Nightblade damage abilities such as Strife or Cripple, and makes this morph work cohesively with a ranged ability kit.

Templar
  • Aedric Spear
    • Binding Javelin (Piercing Javelin morph): Fixed an issue where Rank III of this morph had a 20 meter range instead of a 28 meter range.
    • Focused Charge: Increased the speed of the animation played by this ability and its morphs.
Developer Comments
Since there is already a waiting period on charge abilities as you move to close the gap, we have increased the speed of the “leaping stab” animation that happens once you finally reach your target. This should make Focused Charge feel more responsive, allowing you to more fluidly transition into other abilities after completing the charge.

  • Dawn’s Wrath
    • Backlash:
      • The initial damage and final damage dealt by this ability and its morphs can no longer be blocked.
      • Fixed an issue where the final damage dealt by this ability and its morphs was not being reduced by Battle Spirit.
      • Known Issue: The maximum damage limit indicated on the tooltip for this ability and its morphs currently shows the PvP value (which is half the value of the PvE damage limit).
Developer Comments

Making Backlash unblockable ensures it behaves consistently when compared to Daedric Cruse, as both those abilities are similar in functionality and how they thematically apply their damage. This also ensures that Backlash is not double penalized by block, since most of the damage it copies will likely be blocked or avoided by enemies seeking to minimize your Backlash’s final attack.

Guild
  • Mages Guild
    • Magelight: Fixed an issue where the permanent Major Prophecy buff from this ability and its morphs was removing other temporary sources of Major Prophecy.

Crafting & Economy
General
  • Fixed an issue where your game could crash when crafting items with a mix of stolen- and non-stolen items.
  • An ore node north of the Quendeluun Wayshrine in Auridon was previously buried too deep to be seen, but could still be mined. The ore node has now been moved to the surface, where it can be both seen and mined with greater ease.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Orzorga's Red Frothgar to appear twice in the Brew tab of Provisioning stations.

Alliance War
  • Updated the prices on the War Enchanter's offerings to make them less enticing as a way to convert Alliance Points into gold.

Master Writs
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Provisioning Master Writs from being turned in.
  • Target Skeletons now stack to 200 in the inventory. That's a lot of skeletons!
  • Added a higher-health Target Skeleton to Rolis Hlaalu's store: the Robust Target Skeleton. This Target Skeleton makes a better target for those who want to evaluate larger skeleton damage sums over long periods of time.
  • Rolis Hlaalu now sells an envelope that, when opened, will provide a random purple Furnishing Plan.
  • Rolis Hlaalu can now be found in a more prominent location when in Wayrest.
  • Adjusted the drop chance calculations for Master Writs from Clothiering, Blacksmithing, and Woodworking.
    • These previously evaluated against all of these skills at once. Now, they only look at your long-term mastery of their own research information when determining your chance of receiving a Master Writ.
  • Increased the Writ Voucher yield for Akaviri-style items from Master Writs by 10%, and for Orzorga's Smoked Bear Haunch and Psijic Ambrosia by 25%.
  • Fixed a minor typo in the text for Sealed Clothier Writs.
  • Corrected some text issues that may lead to you encountering SUDDEN SHOUTING or unusual_behaviour from Master Writs in your quest journal.

Crown Store & Crown Crates
General
  • Crown Crates can now be accessed while sitting in a chair.
  • Fixed a keybinding issue that could occur in the Crown Crates menu when toggling Gamepad Mode on and off.
  • The Crown Store will no longer always be locked the first time you open it.

Personalities
  • Props will now be properly hidden when harvesting with a Personality equipped.

Dungeons & Group Content
Dungeons
  • City of Ash
    • The Central Barricade will once again open, allowing you to progress through the dungeon.

Exploration & Itemization
General
  • Fixed an issue that could cause your camera to briefly zoom in after standing up from a chair.
  • Improved the positioning of your character when sitting in certain chairs.

Item Sets
  • Desert Rose: Increased this item set’s proc chance to 15% from 10%, but also increased its cooldown to 4 seconds from 1 second.
Developer Comments
Due to this item set having a low cooldown, the Magicka restored by its proc was very high in situations where you were taking lots of incoming hits every second. Increasing the cooldown but also increasing the proc chance maintains the current level of Magicka returns when you are taking one hit every second, but keeps it from being extremely overpowered when you were taking multiple hits every second. The Magicka returns of this set will still remain higher than any other item set in heavy combat situations.

  • Collision for assistants in homes now behaves more like NPC collision outside of homes: you can't walk through them or stand on them, but you can dodge through them.
  • Fixed an issue where mounts and pets based on your alliance would always appear as Daggerfall when placed in your house. Now, every player sees them based on their alliance.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause you to fall through furnishings when logging back into your home.
  • Pirharri the Smuggler can now be used by visitors with "visitor access" to your home as long as they also have the Smuggler unlocked.

    • Captain Margaux’s Place
    • Cyrodilic Jungle Home
    • Daggerfall Overlook
    • Gardener House
    • Kragenhome
    • The Rosy Lion Inn

  • Woodworking and Clothing stations in homes now use the proper animations.
  • Crafting stations can no longer be used if they are placed underwater.
  • Moving too far away from a crafting station will now cause you to exit the crafting interface.
  • Added French, German, and Japanese localized text to the new Undaunted Trophies.
  • Fixed an issue where the flame for the "Light and Shadow" achievement furnishing was displaying incorrectly.
  • Updated "Lantern, Hanging" and "Lantern, Dim" to animate when placed in a home. They gently sway now, as opposed to hanging rigidly in place.

  • Fixed an issue where several homes were not displaying proper images when at the House purchase screen.
  • Made minor adjustments to several homes to add lights, remove duplicate items, and resolve cases where objects were floating or clipping through other objects.
  • Added a tower to Ebonheart Chateau, overlooking the nearby lava. The door to this new addition can be accessed from the courtyard.
  • Updated the lighting in Earthtear Cavern to improve game performance.
  • Updated Hammerdeck's name and description in response to player feedback.
    • The new name is "Hammerdeath Bungalow".
    • The new description reads “‘It may be small, but at least it’s gloomy. And if you enjoy beating up on your friends, like I do, it’s right next door to the arena!’ –Goorguk gro-Murtag, Orcish Realtor”
