During the last 3 days, we've been on the receiving end of several DDoS attacks. Most of these have been directed at the North American game servers, some also at the European game servers. The timing and targeting of the attacks make them clearly intended to be as disruptive as possible to your gaming experience.

We have been, and still are, working with our hosting providers at both locations to mitigate the effects of these attacks. Filters are being placed and adjusted, and logs of both attacks and pre-attack probes are being collected for further analysis, and potentially submission to law enforcement. We do of course intend to follow up and manage this situation, and believe we'll have it under control shortly.

I'll follow up with more information as we have it - for now I'd like to extend our apologies for this situation, and again ensure you that we're working hard to minimize the disruption to your playtime.
