Ok guys, this is about your one and only chance to have some feedback on this topic, as it's the suggestion i'm putting forward to Cyanide and Focus based on this issue...
Keep your replies short and sweet, and please stay on topic.

We've all been monitoring the Alt+F4 threads, opinions and records throughout the Beta phases. FOR ME, it boils down to this:
If an opponent DCs, then;
Server records SPPs, injuries, scoreline etc up to that point and they still count.
Opponent has (1 minute) a short amount of time to try and reconnect. If not;
Game ends as a +2 TD victory for the 'victim', they lose winnings, MVP etc, exactly as the rulebook states for a conceeded match.
The DCer has their % rating for games completed affected, which further affects their reputation and liklihood of getting games.
Now - What about 'honest' drops?
Well, aside from a small window to try and get back in the game, I can't see how we can impliment a fair system on this side that compensates for the 'real world' situations people may encounter. Pure technical problems with folks ISP and PCs simply can't be accounted for by the game, nor are they in any other online PC game I know... (we had a power cut during a Warhammer Online game the other day, do I blame Mythic? No.)
This solution, I feel, is fair, and reflects the system in place with the board game. It takes on board many of the opinions of people around here too, and while it may not be to the liking of all, it is impossible to be able to please all of the people all of the time.
Thanks for reading - I appreciate any feedback you can give on the subject, critical or not, but please stay on the constructive side.
Cheers,
Nelson.

Good stuff - keep it up...
A few points I like from this thread and seem sensible and fair... some may be too complex to communicate and impliment. Also, a couple of additional ideas that occured. (as I said, this is still something we're working on, and these ideas will form the AIM of what we want, which MAY be different to how things end up in the released game (though as Antoine mentioned there may be additional things we could fix in future patches) through what can be technically achieved.)
Increase the reconnection time to 4 minutes, and, if possible, have an option to extend or force concession after this timer is up.
DCs may happen once, then twice per game with these criteria - if a third DC occurs, instant concession.
As well as showing % reliability for disconnecting, I wonder if we can also show % of times someone has been disconnected AGAINST - thereby helping to reveal if certain players are exploiting the game by making others disconnect against them. (but let's not clog up this thread with potential exploits please).
Yes I agree that we SHOULDN'T include the 'star players' leave 50% of the time if you disconnect, the MVP, Cash and % reliability are penalty enough.
<new idea. If it is the (honest) disconnecting players turn who drops during a turn based game, firstly, it's a turnover. Then, the game continues with the other player who has a notification pop up saying the other person has dropped, now aware, you carry on and play your turn, then after that, the dropper has their own turn time to reconnect - if they haven't managed to reconnect during (all) this time, then revert to DC solution listed here. - the idea here is that it give the 'honest' disconnector more time to reconnect without interupting the flow of the game. Though I fear this may be way too complicated for the servers to keep up with.>
Nelson,
GW man.
