Elle n'est pas encore là, mais c'est pour bientôt. Voici un aperçu en anglais. Une fois les informations fixées (contenu disponible sur le serveur de jeu) ce sera traduit.

Changes to Outpost tokens

# Outposts will no longer give tokens. However, they will have an effect on the % chance to get a token off of a PvP kill.

PvP kills now have a percent chance to give 1 token. There is a base percent at about 25-30, and then it is modified by: current faction population in GZ, # of faction controlled outposts, and # of outpost captures by killing player (that are still controlled). There is a set minimum and maximum % chance. There will also be a cooldown on that specific player that you just killed before you can get another token from him/her.

# There is a UI addition that will allow you to view your current % chance to get a token. I'm not sure, but I believe this will be based on the player you have targeted. So I would assume it will be part of the Current Target bar. However, it may just be a flat % chance displayed elsewhere.

# The new token-earning system will be EXTREMELY FLEXIBLE AND EASY TO MODIFY. The system was designed to be easy to change in case of unforseen side effects.

# The devs prefer to see a free-for-all carnage fest in Ground Zero. They are not going to penalize players for participating in the truce, however they will be working to discourage such PvP-lacking gameplay as the treaty/truce. See the beginning of this post for more info.

New Zones

# The new lv80 instance will be the Justice Tower. The final boss goes by the same name... I believe. This instance was designed to be very difficult. You will not be able to enter the instance solo. One of the devs joked about them making it so hard that they couldn't beat it, so that they knew the players would at least have a hard time with it.

# There will be 3 new lower level (20?) instances, one for each race. Much of the above will apply to these instances as well.

Boss Mobs and Item sets

# Momma Bite has a lowish % chance to spawn whenever Darkbite dies. She will be much harder to kill then Darkbite, and probably not soloable. She is mostly a pure damage-dealing enemy and lacks status effects and defense. Also, her spawning has no effect on Darkbite's respawn timer.

Mama Bite is capable of ripping through 1300 health ON A POORLY EQUIPPED CHARACTER in a few seconds.

# Darkbite has been tweaked and been made slightly more difficult.

# They sounded excited about bringing back Radian the Tempernet boss at one point or another.

# Boss-unique loot will be introduced through Momma Bite and Justice Tower. No word on whether these will be static or generated dynamically or what.
# They are considering adding additional ways to obtain mission items for the 50,000 epic quests.

# They plan on fixing the epic mission reward items to be craftable.

Crafting

# Crafters are encouraged to discuss on the crafting board on how to improve the random-result crafting recipes.

# Experimentation is meant to be exactly that. It is not meant to be a sure thing that becomes too predictable.

# They are considering changing the launch Xeno weapons to be more in line with the U2 weapons.

# Gadget and chassis drop rates have been slightly increased (for U3, I'm assuming. He did not specify).

# Exotic crafting should be able to hit skill 100 in U3 through the aide of junk vendors.

# They are plans to implement something around U4 or later that would allow the Reverse Engineering of enhancements that have no recipe. The plan would be to warn the player that XX enhancement(s) will be removed with a successful RE.

Items

# They are tossing around the option of trade between factions. They are also considering the idea as even worth it since so many things have race requirements.

# The issue of the lack of ornaments and hazard kits not dropping is a high priority. This will be in U3 if it is not pushed to a hotfix sooner.

# Mastery MK2 ornaments were originally a quest reward. It is currently not dropping at all. There are plans to bring it back. They are also considering an MK3 and MK4 version.

# Devlor wants his Mozak chassis. This was a bug that he received the chassis unbroken. They are considering altering that mission and other similar ones to be repeatable.

# Tank treads are more complicated than they sound. Tanks are actually 6 wheeled vehicles with a funny skin, and this is what complicates things. It sounds like a medium to low priority thing, but it is in the queue of things to be worked on.

# New gadgets are planned for U3, U4 or somewhere in between.

Skills

# A comprehensive skill pass is under way. This should hit around U4. One idea under consideration is: making 10 the maximum rank for all skills, making all rank ups only cost 1 skill point, resetting the maximum number of skill points at 80 to 160. The lv80 skills are probably going to change in one of 2 ways: making them 10 ranks, or raising their cost to 10 SP to keep in line with other skills.

# Group stealth will now comply with the correct cooldown timer. Group stealth will also be looked at for the skill pass, i.e. there may be alternates added to the other factions.

# They are looking at how to fix the issue with too many "from stealth" skills and not enough stealth skills.

# The insane human accuracy issue is being looked at during the skill pass. Biomek and Mutant defense is also being considered.

# They are considering a "start over I messed up" option for respecs. This depends on how difficult it may or may not be to code.

# Biomek Order and Echo are both fixed for U3.

# Certain DoTs have been given Penetration where needed in anticipation of the Deflection/Resistance revert.

# Damage and Taunt(Aggro) values are 1:1. As in, 500 Taunt has the same effect on the monster's behavior as 500 damage.

# Oppressive Phase HAD to be fixed. Although it sounds like punting things is a guilty pleasure for this guy. He states that OP's windforce effect could propel characters/creatures faster than the server could keep up. This could potentially crash the server as players could end up in certain places that totally confuse the server.

# Biomek Terminators can expect some more Taunt skills through the skill pass.

# Lockdown causes a lot of Taunt.

# The PvP level difference dependent Deflection and Resistance adjustments/reductions are being turned off.

Other / technical

# The auction house and mail system will not make U3. There is a POSSIBILITY of them being ready for U4. When these are ready for testing, they plan on pushing them to the PTS for some long-term testing. As you might figure, any potential bugs in either of these systems could have devastating negative effects. This why they are taking their time to do it right.

# The web content is nearly ready. The rankings system (should?) be part of U3. The skill calculator will be live within 3 weeks of U3 going live.

# Clan names will now be displayed above a player's head.

# The desync issue is continually being addressed. This issue is a very complex one and cannot be easily fixed.

# Ramming is another priority, and they are considering options on how to fix too much ramming damage through multiple hits.

# The Biomek Cinderfall terrain hole will be fixed courtesy of Mr.Squiggly.

# They have acknowledged the problems with INCing, especially the ones caused by skills. This will hopefully be fixed for U4.

# Things will now fade into view, rather than just popping in.

Y'a du très attendu dans cet U3, dommage qu'il n'y ai plus grand monde pour le voir quand il arrivera ^^

En plus du "skill pass" pour équilibrer les compétences (en espérant que ce sera + poussé que les précédents) j'ai surtout noté :

qui devrait rendre les templates défensifs et + généralement les combats intéressants.


A quand l'absence d'abonnement ou alors le serveur pur sucre ?

Et comme dit GCM "Maintenant tu es prévenu la prochaine fois tu prendras le bus en route un an après la sortie du jeu."
Y'a pas à dire, mais vu l'activité du forum, AA est mort et enterré.
J'ai bien fait de ne pas renouveler mon abonnement.

C'est la série des cartons en ce moment, AA, DnL, qui est le prochain?
C'est clair que AA est mort à moins d'un miracle (qui n'arrivera pas).

Par contre, faut pas comparer DnL avec quoi que ce soit, la vie de ce MMO *tousse* est à part
Je suis toujours responsable de la section, mais c'est juste que je n'arrive pas à trouver de remplaçant... Idem pour le reste de l'équipe. Je suis d'un oeil l'actualité du jeu et je lis toujours le forum (ici et officiel), mais sans grande conviction.

Quant à l'avenir de Auto Assault, m'est d'avis que sans le mastodonte NC Soft il serait enterré depuis quelques semaines, voire mois, déjà.

Dommage, le jeu est vraiment potentiellement bon. Dommage. Dommage.

J'avais testé AA vite fait en béta, depuis je n'ai pas pu me procurer une machine ni suffisamment du temps pour me décider à me lancer dans l'aventure, mais de ce que j'ai vu et lu, j'y vois aussi un jeu avec du potentiel qui n'a pas su trouver sa place.

Surtout que le genre post-apo est très peu représenté dans les MMO, ça doit être le seul (et qu'on ne me vienne pas me parler de Twilight War en préparation, lol).
Et certains screens... woaw.


J'espère que le jeu existera toujours quand je pourrais enfin le tester vraiment.

Je me contente juste de regarder le forum JoL et l'off de temps en temps, mais ça fais bien longtemps que je ne joue plus (et je ne rejouerai pas ).
concernat l'up 3, j'ai été vraiment satisfait, on s'etait habitué a un pvp pourri, mais la sur GZ ca change tout. le fait de pouvoir toucher un token lorsqu'on elimine un adversaire, ca change totalement la mentalité des joueurs, et le PVP a repris tout son sens. ca bouge sur GZ!!
sinon on peu aussi saluer l'arriver de la nouvelle instance lvl 80 "la tour" pour laquelle il faudra etre au moin 4 pour arriver au bout, et ce faire de beau petit loots, sympa aussi.
La reine darkbite a fait son apparition ,et darkbite etait devenu un peu lassant, alors au bout d'un certain temps, la reine arrive, et là, pas evident de la tuer tout seul. donc convoi necessaire, et joli loot a la clée.
sinon une instance lvl 18 a faire a plusieur pour chaque nation a été ajouté.
des kits d'armes et de pieces ont vu le jour en plus de kit Battlemaster, ca diversifi un peu l'equipement des joueurs, et meme de nouvelles pieces dans l'ensemble standard qu'on pouvais trouver avant.
et le plus important, l'equilibre des nations qui as enfin été justement corrigé, je sais de quoi je parle je suis chaman mutant et franchement, heureusement que l'update3 est arrivée. Les competences de chaque classe ont été entierement revues.
sinon certains bug ont été corrigés, depuis l'update3 je n'ai constaté aucun bugs majeur. le plus gros probleme maintenant c'est le manque de joueurs!!
voila en gros les amélioration de l'update3, plutot convainquante, mais arrive bien evidement trop tard.
en tout cas pour ma part voila une bonne raison de rester, et de motiver ceux qui ne connaissent pas AA a venir nous rejoindre.
Je vais peut être reprendre un mois pour jeter un coup d'oeil. J'étais revenu tester en update 2 (j'avais pris 6 mois :/ ), mais l'absence de certaines parties de l'anatomie masculine chez les joueurs sur GZ (comprenez: des accords interfaction pour que tout le monde ait son set battlemaster) m'avait profondément déçu.

Je me suis même fait flam sur shout pour avoir tué des humains et pris un OP
exactement ce qui m'as degouté aussi, mais ca c'est fini, les joueurs ne restent plus chacun de leur coté, au contraire, c'est la guerre! mais ya toujours des joueurs qui ont la notion de "triche" alors ils font un compromis poour ce laisser tuer afin de ramasser des token, mais bon ,il faut etre courageux pour ce laisser tuer 2000 fois, et on rammas pas toujours un token. ormis cette amélioration, la nouvelle instance lvl 80 viens d'etre revu pour etre encore plus difficile, ils faut etre 4 lvl80 et plutot très costaud pour arriver au bout.
et puis bien evidement l'equilibre des nations!
avec ces 3 améliorations, AA a repris du poil de la bete !!
