Lich King: "Are the troops assembled for the invasion?"

Lich General: "Yes, master. Well, sort of."

Lich King: "What do you mean, sort of?!?"

Lich General: "Well, our weapons scientists are undead skeletons, sir. They have no eyes. One might say they're a bit sight-challenged, master. So they're having trouble figuring out which bone attaches to which. They can only assemble about a half dozen troops at a time."

Lich King: "Are you telling me we that we've positioned a necropolis over every strategic point, we're ready to invade, and we can only assemble a half dozen troops at a time?!?!?"

Lich General: "Yes, master, I'm afraid that's about it. Well, not exactly. We were able to create some cool looking circles where we paratroop a whole bunch of level 9 soldiers."

(Lich King slaps his forehead in disgust.)

Lich King: "And how is that attack going, as if I need to ask?"

Lich General: "Not very well, I'm afraid. Let me put it this way. The higher level troops are calling this part of the invasion 'providing target practice for the enemy'".

Lich King: "And the level 50+ troops? What about them?"

Lich General: "Well, we don't have very good aim - you know, sight challenged? - and we seem to drop them mostly around guards. The problem is that the locals keep showing up and wiping out our troops while they hack away at the guards."

Lich King: "And what about the stitched horrors? They're much more powerful. Surely they're leading us to victory?"

Lich General: "Yeah, well, about that, sir... Again, it comes down to how difficult it can be to do things without eyes. It takes even longer to stitch together a horror, and they tend to come out a bit cock-eyed, what with an extra arm sticking out here, and, well, I'd rather not say what else. I mean, all it takes to stick one bone to another is a little superglue, but stitching these horrors is a nightmare, so to speak. Maybe we should have asked our scientists to choose tailoring instead of alchemy, I don't know. But they can only make one at a time."

Lich King: "So what you're telling me is that this invasion is a total disaster."

Lich General: "In a word, sir, um, yes. Do you want me to call it off?"

Lich King:? "Are you crazy? We have a necropolis positioned over each strategic location. We've prepared for this for weeks. We'll be a laughing stock if we retreat now!"

Lich General (mutters): "Too late, sir."

Lich King: "What?"

Lich General: "Cough. Nothing, nothing."

Lich King: "Okay, just get to the bottom line. Have we won any battles?"

Lich General: "Um, no."

Lich King: "Burn any cities?"

Lich General: "Um, afraid not."

Lich King: "Torch any houses?"

Lich General: "None of that either, I'm afraid."

Lich King: "Striking fear into the hearts of our enemies?"

Lich General: "The enemies seem to think this is some sort of carnival event. They're staging celebrations, and the food vendors walk right by our troops to sell snacks to the onlookers."

Lich King: "Sigh. Are we frightening any children, at least?"

Lich General: "Funny thing about that. They seem to dance and play right by our soldiers as if they're not even there."

Lich King: "So what are our options, then?"

Lich General: "Well, I was thinking we could peek out the windows of the necropolis and call the enemies names. It won't do much damage but we're not doing much damage anyway. At least this way our own troops won't get hurt."

Lich King: "Whatever. I'm going to bed. Wake me up when this is over."
