Thank you for the interest you have shown in this game, voicing your feedback and opinions to us with such passion. Your comments and input are greatly appreciated, and we plan to take that knowledge and work to improve Atlantica. And we hope you will continue contributing to this ongoing process to make Atlantica one of the best MMORPGs out there.


Today, at 10 p.m. Pacific Daylight Saving Time (PDT), the Atlantica server will be taken offline to perform updates and maintenance on the game. We are working to incorporate some of the changes you have suggested through your feedback.


As previously announced, Atlantica will enter a third round of closed beta testing, and the tentative start date is Aug. 25, 2008, at 6 p.m. Pacific Daylight Saving Time (PDT).

When you return for round 3, you will be able to continue right where you left off when the second round ended - there will be no wipe at the end of round 2. Plus, you will return to an Atlantica that has been updated with the following changes:


1) An improved Stamina system.
2) More parity and balance in the Free Leagues, as we refine player-versus-player action to be less one-sided and more competitive and exciting.
3) A better role for Scrolls in PvP, based off of your comments to us.

Please note that this timeline is tentative. We will make all efforts to meet this date and restart on the 25th, but due to the variables involved in the development process, the date could change. But we hope you will keep returning to the Atlantica website for further details as they become available. Thank you again for taking part in the Atlantica experience. See you in round 3.

Blablabla merci tout ça...
... on essaiera de relancer le jeu (3ème phase closed bêta) le 25 août, et vous retrouverez vos persos dans l'état ou vous les aviez laissés...
... quelques améliorations: refonte de la Stamina et des free leagues entres autres...

Vous pensez quoi des scrolls?

Moi j'aime beaucoup, beaucoups de gens se plaignent mais je crois que c'est parcequ'ils n'ont pas analyzé le bordel ! Déja on est limité à 3 scrolls par combat.. et il y a meme un scroll de purif.. ca met 1 à 2 tour pour se declencher. Pour moi ca dynamise totalement les combats.

On va voir ce qu'ils reservent comme modifs.

Honnetement, je préfère sans : le pvp est quand même plus intéressant sans scrolls.

Mais comme les gens, même ceux qui disent "pas de scroll, hein, stp !" finissent par les utiliser quand le combat tourne à leur désavantage, ben j'ai commencé à les utiliser, et j'ai finalement gagné un combat. C'est bête, la vie, des fois.

il me semble que dans la CB2, au bout d'un moment en free league les mercenaire lancent tout seul et aléatoirement un scroll. du moins ça m'est arrivé sur quelques combat qui duraient avec mes mercenaires
