Tensions are on the rise in the world of Marvel Heroes as the world fills up with more and more superheroes and supervillians, whose battles grow ever more dangerous to the world around them...

Crossbones in Patrol Modes - Crossbones and his band of mercenaries have begun terrorizing civilians in Hightown Patrol, Industry City Patrol and Midtown Manhattan Patrol. It is up to our heroes to go in there and stop him before more innocents are caught in the crossfire!

Madripoor Bazaar Chase - Maria Hill and S.H.I.E.L.D have been busy tracking Crossbones and have located him in a heavily populated Bazaar located in Madripoor. Many innocent civilians are trapped and only our heroes can go in and help them! The chase ends with a confrontation with Crossbones that will have a very polarizing effect on the world and their opinions on super heroes. This challenge can be accessed from any Waypoint in the Challenges tab.

Bonus Experience - Regardless of whether you’re #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan, all heroes will receive 50% bonus XP during the duration of the event!

The following Civil War characters will gain an additional 50% bonus XP during the first phase of the Civil War event, which will end on May 12th!

NEW PLAYER EXPERIENCE
With today’s update, we’ve revamped the starting area of the game with an entirely new tutorial scenario designed to introduce new players to the world of Marvel Heroes 2016 in a much more exciting fashion!

New players will now begin the game in Times Square under siege by Ultron and his horde of sentries, and given control of Avengers such as Captain America, Black Widow and Hulk to try and save the city! Along the way to putting an end to Ultron’s assault, this new scenario will better teach players how to play Marvel Heroes 2016, explaining basic functions such as assigning and using new powers, or switching between heroes using the roster system.

This new scenario replaces the previous Bank Robbery section, and once completed leads directly into the Raft portion of the prologue where the Story mode begins. In an update coming soon, we will also be introducing a new version of the Raft that is further tutorialized.


ENEMY TUNING CHANGES
Global Enemy Tuning Changes

Miniboss enemies were incorrectly gaining more health and damage than intended, and this has been corrected in all regions.

Specific Boss Tuning Changes

Damage has been reduced for the following bosses & powers (these changes impact any zones where these bosses appear):

Sentinels - Missile attack and ground stomp
Living Laser - Beam sweep
Wizard - Triple disk attack
Magneto - Channeled area attack and prison attack
Sabretooth - Flurry attack and bleed damage
M.O.D.O.K. - Triple rocket attack
Sauron - Flame hotspot
Electro - Electricity hotspot
Cosmic War Skrull - Dash attack
Gorgon - Melee attack

Cosmic Trial
Sentinel damage has been greatly reduced, and various other enemies have had damage increased. This should more closely match the previous difficulty of the Cosmic Trial.

Holo-Sim
Hulk’s Car Toss damage greatly reduced

Midtown Patrol
Doombots - Damage reduced
Gang Arsonists - Molotov attack damage reduced

Industry City Patrol
The Surtur Demons that are a part of the Loki wave have had their damage corrected to no longer one-shot players.

Hightown Patrol
Overall damage dealt by mobs reduced
The Cultist and S.H.I.E.L.D. wave ranged enemies have had their damage greatly reduced
Health has been reduced for the following bosses:
Mindless Titan
Elektra
Nick Fury
War Skrulls

Danger Room
Traps have received another tuning pass and in general now deal reduced damage
The Contagious affix damage has been greatly reduced


GAMEPAD SUPPORT CHANGES
Some offensive powers that performed automatic teleport to enemies were a bit tricky to use on a gamepad previously, so we’ve changed the behavior for these powers to use the auto-targeting system to allow them to only teleport to the targeted enemy instead of maximum distance. The following powers are affected when using a gamepad:

Deadpool - Cutting Room Floor
Elektra - Not Even The Stars
Magik - Seven-League Step
Nightcrawler - Brimstone Beatdown, Righteous Frenzy
Silver Surfer - Death From Below
Vision - Comeuppance
In addition, zone portals should now be fixed to always be interactable when using a gamepad.

MINOR CHANGES & BUG FIXES
Fixed an ongoing UI issue where the names of items dropped would not display properly.

Fixed an issue that could cause tooltips to become stuck on screen when holding right mouse while passing the cursor over a UI element that displayed a hover tooltip.

Fixed an issue where the Gamepad Notification would not display the correct image.

Fixed a visual issue with Spider-Man’s Leaping Assault while wearing the Spider-Gwen costume.

Fixed an issue where the Industry City Eviction Notice would not complete with defeating all objectives. Kirigi and his Hand friends weren't happy when we took him out of Industry City Patrol and left a parting gift that was causing problems. Ninja are tricky like that.

Fixed a visual issue that could cause Elektra's sai to remain absent after using Blossom of Death.

Fixed various typos across multiple items. Considering the possibility of spell check in our editor…

Modified some achievements that would previously require a player to complete an objective in the Queens Bank Heist scenario. In addition, some have become Feats.


KNOWN ISSUES
The Crossbones Pursuit scenario will not reset once completed and you are returned to Avenger’s Tower. Until this is addressed in a future update, you can force the area to reset by switching to another hero in the Hero Roster.
