As with RL POL is a bit of an inigma, no one really knows who he is. His web site at http://polarida.com/certainly does not give much away. He is from Edinburgh, Scotland and plays what he calls `Radical Acoustic` songs, using his self developed `Hammer` guitar technique. The full sound is an interesting achievment since he uses only a standard semi acoustic guitar with little or no effects.
His songs are highly rated in RL and have won both critical acclaim and awards, not to mention a fair bit of radio play.
His entry into SL is a perfect match for him, with so many solo singer songwriters around. The idea of a medium where the `raw` songs comes to the fore, suits both his creative ambitions and his very individual style

Comme dans la RL POL est un peu énigmatique, personne ne sait vraiment qui il est. Son site [web], http://polarida.com/ ne le dévoile pas beaucoup plus. Il est originaire d'Édimbourg, en Ecosse et il joue ce qu'il appelle les "chansons Acoustiques Radicales", en utilisant sa propre technique de guitare "Hammer". Le son est une réussite tès intéressante car il utilise seulement une guitare semi-acoustique standard avec peu ou pas d'effets. Ses chansons ont beaucoup de succès dans la RL et ont reçu des récompenses et sont acclamées par la critique, sans oublier ses prestations radiophoniques. Son entrée dans SL est un challenge parfait pour lui, avec tant de compositeurs de chansons et de chanteurs solo autour de lui. L'idée de ce moyen où les chansons 'brutes' attirent l'attention, va tant à ses ambitions créatrices qu'à son style très individuel. Vous êtes les bienvenus pour écouter ce fabuleux et grand artiste !! à ne pas manquer !!
