Event: Operation Omega
Operation Omega is live, and runs through October 15th (11:59 PM PDT)!
Join your fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. recruits for omega level loot, bosses, leveling and more!
- During Operation Omega, the first time you complete a Shared Quest each day will reward double Omega Orb rewards.
- Omega Level Buffs!: XP, RIF, and SIF start at +24% and increase by 24% every day.
- Omega leveling is 24% faster during Operation Omega. This works well with the Omega-Level buffs to experience.
- Agent Coulson offers a mission during Operation Omega week. Each day, you can complete five or more waves in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Holo-Sim to receive a reward from him. This will help hone your skills to be prepared for Omega-Level threats.
- During the event, any enemy can drop a powerful artifact called The Omega Drive.
- Omega-Level Boosts Return - pair this with our server-wide boost for even greater returns!
New Team-Up: Spider-Gwen
Spider-Gwen joins the Team-Up roster of Marvel Heroes 2015!
In the alternate reality of Earth-65, Gwen Stacy was the one bitten by a radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker to become a spider-powered superhero. The Mary Janes will need to find a replacement drummer for now, as Spider-Gwen joins the fight against all manner of supervillains in our dimension!
New Team-Up: S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent
Nick Fury is impressed with your assistance in helping S.H.I.E.L.D. keep the most dangerous villains and their lackeys in check. He has something for you at the S.H.I.E.L.D. Recon Post in Chapter 3!
Hero Changes
Gambit
- 52 Pickup now deals AoE damage around the target. All enemies damaged by these hits will take the final explosion damage. Also provides a large buff to Dead Man's Hand, granting it the ability to fire 10 cards at a time, and Bo Beatdown, granting it 20% increased attack speed and the ability to always crit.
- House of Cards now deals damage immediately upon impact (in addition to at the end of the hotspot's duration).
- Bo Vault and Royal Flush now give a scaling damage buff to Gambit's Melee and Ranged powers, respectively, which now incorporates these fan favorite powers into his rotation.
- Swapped the unlock level of Royal Flush and Ace of Spades.
Captain Marvel
Ms. Marvel has been renamed to Captain Marvel throughout the game. In addition, she has received a new default costume and updated power icons! The previous default costume will remain in the game as the Captain Marvel Classic Costume - for those that already have Captain Marvel unlocked, you’ll retain her Classic costume, and to receive a copy of her new default Captain Marvel All-New All-Different Costume please head to your profile and redeem the code “
DANVERS”.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where many heroes “rapid fire” abilities were not properly scaling with Attack Speed, though their tooltips made it seem as if they did.
Fixed an issue that prevented Moon Knight's Avatar of Vengeance from restoring the correct amount of health in certain zones.
Jean Grey's Kinetic Wave (Phoenix version) tooltip now shows the DoT damage once again.
Jean Grey's Phoenix Inferno is now properly affected by Ranged damage rating and triggers Ranged procs. The power also now has a 1s cooldown to prevent rapid activation.
Fixed some issues that allowed Kitty Pryde to wield a sword at inappropriate times.
Many Signatures, Ultimates, and impactful channeled powers are now fixed to be immune to crowd control powers and will not be interrupted by them, causing the power to prematurely go on cooldown.
Exiting from the Bronx Zoo should return you to your last checkpointed base rather than forcing you to return to Avengers Tower.
The issue where NPCs in Hubs would randomly move around has been resolved and we've BOLTED them to the ground.
