Game Features

  • Found new city
    • Players can now found a new city on any plains location in the world.
    • You need a baron, 100k Wood, 100k Stone, 25k Iron, 25k Food and 250 carts or 25 trading ships.
    • To found a new city, select an empty field and choose "Found New City" to open the command screen.
    • The amount of resource fields in a new city now depends on the surrounding landscape. Mountains increase iron, Hills increase stone, Forest increases trees and grassland/others increase lakes.
      For example, if you want to found a new city with high iron production choose a location nearby mountains.
  • Ships
    • <LI style="TEXT-INDENT: -14px; MARGIN-LEFT: 14px">General:
      • You can set sail now to visit other continents.
      • To build ships, you need a Shipyard (requirement: Town Hall Level 10)
      • You can use ships to assault, siege or plunder enemey cities as well as to send support to allies.
      • You cannot use ships to spy. They're just too big, sorry…
      • If a ship sinks you may lose troops which are not able to return to their home city.
      • Ships move twice as fast as cavalry (1 field = 5 minutes), but they need 1 hour preparation time.
      <LI style="TEXT-INDENT: -14px; MARGIN-LEFT: 14px">Sloop:
      • The Sloop is manned with 100 seamen and a defensive ship.
      • It is most useful to defend cities against attacking enemy ships or artillery.
      • It can also be used to plunder unprotected cities.
    • Frigate:
      • The Frigate is manned with 100 seamen and able to load up to 500 infantry or 250 cavalry units.
      • It can be used offensive or defensive depending on the units.
        Siege engines cannot board.
    • War Galleon:
      • The War Galleon manned with 400 people is the mightiest ship.
      • It is an offensive ship not only dealing damage to enemy units but also to fortifications and buildings.
Balancing

  • Units
    • The Scout is a bit cheaper and his defense versus artillery was reduced to 10.
    • All infantry units increased their defense versus artillery from 10 to 15.
    • All cavalry units except Scout increased their defense versus artillery from 20 to 40.
    • Catapult attack value decreased from 200 to 150, damage to buildings decreased from 750 to 500.
    • Ballista defense versus artillery decreased from 500 to 400.
    • Moonstones
      • The price increased from 40.000 of each resource to 50.000 of each resource.
    • Buildings
      • The costs for most Level 10 buildings have been reduced, sometimes Level 9 too.
      • The productivity of high level resource buildings has been reduced by 5% to 17%.
      • The build time for resource buildings has been reduced.
      • Higher level resource buildings now cost more wood than stone as lower levels do.
      • Processing buildings now cost even amounts of stone and wood.
      • The efficiency of processing buildings has been changed from 30% to 75% (previously 10% to 100%)
      • The build time for the Storage has been reduced.
      • The recruitment speed bonus by Barracks has been reduced to a maximum of 25% (before: 30%).
      • The build time for Barracks has been reduced.
      • The maximum recruitment speed bonus for all military buildings has been reduced to 150% (before: 200%).
      • The costs for higher level military buildings has been reduced.
      • The gold production of Town Houses has been reduced by about 20%
      • The costs for higher level Marketplaces and Harbours has been reduced.
      • The capacity of Hideouts has been increased to maximum of 15.000 (before: 10.000)
