voici les dernières news a venir, toujours sujet a modification par fls évidement.

This is the first of three 2.9 builds we intend for the Test Server. This build contains a new ship (Centurion 3rd rate) as well as a first look at the new OS engagement mechanics, faction penalties for trading with opposing nations and turning off the blind auction system. There is still a need for additional tuning after we complete some back end server testing over the next week. We look forward to any feedback regarding these game mechanic changes and the new ship.
Release Notes for build 2.8.92.0 are here.
Differences between 2.8.84.0 and 2.9.25.0 include but aren’t limited to:
Known Issues:

  • The allowable engagement ratio is currently set to a value higher than it will be when this change goes Live. We temporarily need the values set to this level for some additional backend testing on the server. We will set this engagement ratio to values closer to projected Live values after the US holiday weekend for player feedback.
  • The Open Sea tag tool tip is not displaying the correct information at this time. This will be fixed for the next Test Server build next week.
  • The Auction House is currently listing the lowest price but the Buy Button is still labeled “Make an Offer”. This will be corrected for the next Test Server build coming next week.
Treasure Aisle:

  • Non-consumable clickable mission rewards have been added to Treasure Aisle for characters that have unlocked them by completing the affiliated mission.
  • A Halfway Pack has been added alongside the Starter Pack for levels 25 and up.
  • A new recipe book “Pages from a Bosun’s Journal” can be found in Treasure Aisle. The recipe book allows for the creation of: Tight-Braced Cross Catharpins, Hammock Netting, and Well-Ordered Pinrails. As with the new General Mods, you can access these new Permanent Outfittings via the Port Captain (see General notes below).
Ships and Outfittings:

  • Boarding resistance for all ships has been returned to its previous value of 50% to correct boarding resistance issues on the Live servers.
  • The Centurion Third Rate has been added to the game. The Uncertified Deed will be purchasable in Treasure Aisle, but you can find the official deed via the Port Captains in each port.
  • Captured San Fernando deeds are now able to be traded, and they no longer pay out insurance.
  • The following new outfitting rewards have been added to each national MoV Exchange Shop: Careful Gun Crews, Efficient Dutch Rigging, and Ship’s Cat. You can access these new General Mods via the Port Captain (see General notes below).
Avatars:

  • Adjusted how the Hellhounds swords sit when sheathed so that they no longer have clipping issues.
  • Halloween swords healing effects should no longer stomp other healing effects, such as those in fighting school-specific skills.
  • Bone Pole fishing pole should no longer suffer animation issues.
  • The Floral Calaca and Black & White Calaca face paints were swapped. This has been fixed.
Missions:

  • Added 2011 Holiday titles for A Penny to Bury the Wren and the gift exchange.
General:

  • The Blind Auction system has been turned off, allowing players to see the lowest price for auction house items.
  • Players now receive a loss of player faction with their nation for engaging in a trades between characters of opposing nations.
  • OS engagement mechanics have been modified to use player level and ship level in new group strength calculations. Group strength comparisons for engagements now work both up and down and will only allow engagement if group strengths are within allowable engagement ratio parameters (currently set to approximately 4:1 for back end server testing).
  • A shop has been added to the Port Captains on Test Server to offer most new Treasure Aisle items for testing purposes.
  • Fort deeds can no longer be found on the Auction House.

Dernière modification par Ankou Demat ; 23/05/2013 à 15h02.
patch 2.9.29.0 ( serveur test )
Differences between 2.9.25.0 and 2.9.29.0 include but aren’t limited to:
Known issues:

  • Kilt, Glengarry hat, and Balmoral hat do not unlock clothing items when purchased.
  • New avatar items do not yet have previews.
  • The tooltip for attacking (the Engage Enemy and Fire All buttons) on the Open Sea displays a string instead of proper information.
Treasure Aisle:

  • Server Transfer Request token added to “Account” tab, with a special price in the Captain’s Club tab.
  • Active Nation Reset Request token added to “Account” tab, with a special price in the Captain’s Club tab.
  • New 1-hour and 6-hour bonus books added to “Consumables” tab. The 6-hour books are replacing the 8-hour books. All bonus books received price adjustments.
  • New “All New” category in each tab to easily find the newest items in each category.
  • New “Festive Loyal Dog” added to the “Pets” tab. We couldn’t find a reindeer, so we made one instead.
Missions:

  • Fixed an issue with the holiday title offered in the Gift Exchange. It should now read correctly and be gender-specific.
  • Completing “A Penny to Bury the Wren” unlocks a new seasonal hat accent in Treasure Aisle.
Ships:

  • The Centurion was experiencing some texture issues on the Open Sea and in combat instances. Fixed.
Avatar Clothing:

  • The reward coat for completing “Yard Armor” wasn’t working with certain glove and coat combinations on male avatars. Fixed.
Open Sea:

  • The allowable engagement ratio on the Open Sea has been reduced from 4:1 to 3:1.
  • There was a bug that was preventing reinforcement from working properly between 30 and 120 seconds from the start of a battle. This has been fixed.
patch 2.9.34.0 ( serveur test )
Differences between 2.9.29.0 and 2.9.34.0 include but aren’t limited to:
Treasure Aisle:

  • Holly-Day hat accent was rewarded directly to an account for completing “A Penny to Bury the Wren.” Now the mission correctly unlocks the item in Treasure Aisle without going to the character. Purchasing the item in Treasure Aisle correctly adds the item to all characters on that account.
  • Captain’s Club now contains older seasonal clothing in the Specially Priced section. Enjoy!
  • Added another new kilt to Captain’s Club section of Treasure Aisle.
Ships and Outfittings:

  • The texture issues seen on the Centurion have been fixed. They should be displaying appropriately on the Open Sea and in ship encounters.
  • Changed the Centurion’s ship size from Huge to Colossal.
  • Efficient Dutch Rigging has been pulled from the build this milestone due to an exploit. It will return next milestone.
  • Careful Gun Crews: increased crew damage resistance from 8% to 10%.
  • Ship’s Cat: increased crew recovery rate from 10% to 14%
  • Tight-Braced Cross Catharpins: increased mast damage reduction from 1.5 to 2.
  • Hammock Netting: lowered crew damage resistance by 2%, also added a+7 grappling defense bonus.
  • Well-Ordered Pinrails: the original stats have been scrapped, the following numbers are what you’ll see on the ‘Huge’ version: 2% battle speed, 3% acceleration, 3% turn rate.
Ship Combat:

  • The Open Sea Engagement ratio has been changed from 3:1 to 2:1.
Trading:

  • The penalty for trading with a character from an opposing nation has been increased from -250 to -300.
Other:

  • The “B” hot key was dropping sails instead of going to battle sails. Fixed.
