-More lands to explore, including Sea of Spores and Oren lands.
-New monsters added.
-Enhanced keyboard movement & first-person viewpoint.

Coeur : non, la bêta ouverte est repoussée à une date ultérieure et non précisée. Cela a été confirmé sur le forum officiel. Peut-être à cause de l'accord avec Gamespy-Fileplanet pour l'accès à la bêta fermée.

Onslaught : il s'agit de la spécialisation possible au niveau 40. Regarde l'arbre des branches de spécialisation sur les sites pour mieux voir.

<Addition of New Territory and Hunting Grounds>
1. A new territory that is about 1/5 of the size of the existing Lineage II World has been added. < Addition of New Skills >
A total of 147 new skills have been added. Also, it is now possible for existing skills to be upgraded to a higher level.

< Change of Skill Effects >
1. Now the effects of crystallize skill is applied differentially. For example, in order to destroy a grade C item, you must now have the crystallize stage 2 skill.
2. A change has been made so that when using range attack skill, with the exception of the attacker’s own party members, all other characters including chao and temporary chao characters will receive damage.

< Quests >
1. The quest for 2nd class transfer has been added. In order to qualify for the 2nd class transfer, you must first complete 3 types of quests intended for your race and class. After collecting three marks that you receive as rewards for completing quests, and go to the NPC that facilitates characters of level 40 + with their 2nd class transfer, you will be able to complete the 2nd class transfer. 2. A newly added quest called “Get a pet” is a quest to obtain a pet. In order to fulfill the quest, you should go find Martin, the pet guardian in Gludin village.
3. If you are currently working on 15 quests at the same time, and if you attempt to start on the 16th quest, you will receive a notice informing you that you are not allowed to work on any more quests at the same time. Please note that if you would like to pursue another quest at this point, you will have to give up one of the quests you are currently working on.

< NPCs >
1. Many new monsters have been added. NPCs of the villages in new regions and NPCs that are needed for the 2nd class transfer quests have been placed throughout the game. Also, in the case of village NPCs, their attire has been modified in various styles to reflect their occupation.

2. The position of monsters in Gludio has been modified.
1) The total number of monsters in Gludio region has been increased. Therefore, now you will encounter monsters at a higher frequency in this region.

3. With the latest update, monsters for high level players have been placed in the Enchanted Valley and near the Hunters' Village.
4. Monsters that can be hunted by mid to high level characters who are readying themselves for the 2nd class transfer and by upper 50 level characters have been placed in the Sea of Spores, the Ivory Tower, and the Town of Oren.
5. Monsters that can be hunted by characters of mid 20 level and up have been placed in the Forgotten Temple.

< Items >
1. At a boutique store in Giran, some of the grade C items can be purchased by paying with crystals.
2. The spiritshot that boosts magic power and magic casting speed has been added. It functions in the same way as a soulshot.
3. The items that come in sets that one can use to obtain additional benefits such as an increase of HP, MP and moving speed have been added.
4. Now, blacksmiths in each village can make two-handed swords type items.
5. One piece type clothing items have been added.
6. The method of making items by using a recipe has been changed. Now, when making a lower level grade D item, one does not need to use a grade D crystal. And when making a lower level grade C item, one can use a grade D crystal.
7. The races other than the dwarven race can now get some items made by village blacksmiths.
8. The following change has been made. Now, before a character completes the 2nd class transfer, a spellbook and amulets one needs to learn a skill or magic can be obtained only by buying them from a store. After completing the 2nd class transfer, a character can obtain them only through monster hunting.
9. When a scavenger is using spoil or Search skills, the probability of obtaining an item from a corpse has more than doubled. Up until now, one could obtain ingredient items only from a corpse. < Taming Monsters >
The pet system in which a character can obtain and raise a pet has been added. The term “taming” means that a player adopts a specific NPC available in the game and control it semi-permanently. (From here, a taming monster will be called a pet.)

< Addition and Modification of Systems >
1. The buddy registration system has been added. When a character who has been registered as your buddy logs in, you will be notified through a system message. (/invite buddy name, /delete buddy name, /list buddies)
2. The option to select the method of obtaining items after creating a party has been added. first come first serve / random looting
3. An alliance system has been added. Only a clan of level 5 and above can create an alliance. Once an alliance is created, it can admit any clan to the alliance regardless of a clan’s level. (/alliance invite, /alliance quit, /alliance expel, /alliance dissolve, /alliance register emblem, /alliance information)


4. A private store has been able to sell items only. With the update, now a private store can purchase items also. Currently, unless a store already carries an item a character wants to buy, the item cannot be purchased from the store. A dwarf can register up to 5 items on a purchase list and other races can register up to 4 items on a purchase list.
5. A new function to prevent mistakes and fraud has been added to private stores. When a character is registering an item at a private store, if there is a big difference between the price of an item being ordered and the item’s actual value, a window to double-check the item will appear. Likewise, when you are buying an item from a private store, if there is a big difference between the price you pay for it and the actual value of the item you are buying, the verification window will appear. With the strengthening of our system security that has been implemented with the current update, and with your taking extra precaution during sale and purchase of items, we hope to stop any more unnecessary heartache due to a mistake or fraud during exchanges.
6. Various abnormal states that have been applied to characters will no longer disappear after restarting a PC and logging into the game again. For example, when a character is under a shield that is supposed to last for 10 minutes and your PC restarts before the shield time is up, when you log into the game again, the shield effect will last only for the remaining time.
7. During a PvP, the duration of chaotic state being applied has been slightly changed. The duration of chaos applied to a character that initiates an attack to another general character has doubled. Since this change was made to impose slightly more penalty to the player who initiates an attack, when the attacked character fights back, the existing duration of a chaotic state will be applied.
8. The guaranteed item looting time for a character or a party that inflicts the most damage has increased from 3 seconds to 5 seconds. And the character that inflicted damage will have additional 10 seconds of looting time after that. Please note that if no damage was given, looting can begin about 15 seconds after an attack.
9. A chaotic character cannot interact with a village merchant NPC, gate keeper etc. However, they can still interact with gatekeepers located at dungeons.
10. When there is no action taken for 10 minutes in the character selection screen, the login will automatically be terminated.
11. In any input window, we made a change so that now the last entries you selected will be retained.
12.A character that belongs to a clan can no longer be deleted.
13. When creating a clan or an alliance, grand masters and grand elders located in each village will no longer discriminate against different races. Now an elf can go to a grand elder in the dark elven village and create a clan or an alliance.
14.When you restart or login while in water, your character’s breathing gauge will start at 1/10 of its normal rate.
15.The moving speed in the water has been reduced to about half that of the moving speed while a character is on land.
16.The teleport fee to move from the Dark Elven village to the Town of Gludio has been reduced.

< Interface >
1. The point-of-view in the game has been more diversified. In addition to the existing point-of-views, the first person point-of-view and the remote point-of-view have been added. Now you can control point-of-view of your character with PageUP/PageDown keys (first person, basic, long range) With the change of point-of-views, the maximum distance one can zoom out by using a mouse wheel button has been shortened slightly.

3. The position of all the windows in the game that can be moved around is now automatically saved. (Except Option window). Also, the game option in the option window has a new function to return the position of the windows to their initial positions.
4. In addition to existing social actions, the actions to express “affirmation,” “denial” and “polite greeting” have been added. In addition, now, shortcut keys can be assigned to social actions.
5. The interface that is related to summoners is added. Its function is similar to the interface of the Pet system.
6. Toggle skills such as War cry / Accuracy are now indicated as an abnormal state.
7. In the shortcut bar, the graphic effects have been improved to be able to view the results after one’s skill/spell casting action is over.
8. When selecting a character in the character selection screen, now a character’s status values are more accurately displayed.

< Sound >
1. Various background music pieces have been added.

< Various bugs have been fixed. >
1. Until now, although a clan kills a clan leader of the opposing clan during a clan war, the clan could not win the war. This problem has been fixed. Also, currently when a clan leader surrenders, his experience level does not go down. This problem also has been fixed.

9. While learning a new skill, if a character keeps clicking on “learn” repeatedly, the game would get terminated. This problem has been fixed.
10. If a character uses the Search skill before receiving a quest item, the character could not get the quest item. This problem has been fixed.
11. The peace zones in villages had somewhat inaccurate settings. Now, the peace zones are more precisely set up.
12. During the ominous collector’s quest, zombie type monsters have been giving away zombies’ heads only. This problem has been fixed.
13. A bug has existed that allowed one to create an item without a recipe as long as the item creation window is opened. This bug has been fixed.
14. Gunner Treant, the guardian of the Elven Village has not been able to make a counterattack. This bug has been fixed.
15. While pressing down the Shift key, a character has been able to forcefully attack a village NPC. This problem has been fixed.
16. Other various bug related issues have been resolved.



Additional fixes

- Announcement of Update Information and Addition of Known Bug Related Issues -


We would like to inform you of several issues that were not included in the previous update announcement. We also would like to notify you of known bugs that we have discovered so far.
1. When making two-handed swords type items, the enchant value does not get retained in the final products. In other words, if you use two +3 swords of revolution to make two-handed swords, the resulting items will be the same as two unenchanted swords of revolution.

Please remember this fact so that you will not inadvertently waste enchanted weapons by using them to make two-handed swords.

2. Now you can move items contained in a pet inventory to your shortcut key bar to store and use them.
3. Among the newly added dwarven skills, trade skill has not been activated yet. We will notify you as soon as the skill becomes available.

4. Currently, a bug exists that creates the problem of returning a pet’s HP/MP window to its basic position a little after it is moved to another location.

5. When using a pet to target and attack another character, the pet keeps following the target character without stopping. In order to stop this, the pet’s master should press the stop key. Also, when you press ctrl key and attack key at the same time, even when your target is a general character, it will be considered a forceful attack. Also, please note that when a target character dies, the pet’s master can receive a penalty.

6. Currently when a cubic is summoned, no graphic or sound effects accompany the action. We will add this feature as soon as possible.

7. The following are several peculiarities regarding Forgotten Temple.
- When an item is dropped in the temple, rather than completely being dropped to the floor, the item floats at ankle height.
- At some coordinates, torch lights are floating in the air.

8. If a character performs quest related calculation or exchanges items while the character’s inventory is fully filled with 80 items, an NPC can take away an item from the character’s inventory in a normal way, but cannot give back reward items and other items to the character. During a quest, please double-check the number of items in your inventory window so that you will not miss the chance to receive reward items.

9. During game play, sometimes, although there is no server down, a message window will appear to notify you that the server connection has been terminated. If you click okay at this time, the game will be terminated. However, instead of pressing the OK button, if you press ALT + h to remove all windows to get rid of the message window, you can continue playing the game without any problem.






< Items >
In order to balance the items in the game, the following adjustments have been made.
1. The number of crystals generated when crystallizing Cursed Maingauche has been adjusted to make it similar to the number of crystals generated when crystallizing weapons of the same level.
2. The resistance level of several pieces of armor that are not sold in stores has been slightly lowered.
3. The experience level of Ogre Power Gauntlet has been lowered and the experience level of Karmian Hose has been increased.

< Tamning Monsters >
1. In response to many players’ requests regarding pet features, pets’ moving speed has been increased.
2. The penalty of experience drop upon the death of one’s pet has been reduced to 1/2 of the existing rate.
3. In order to correct the value that has been misapplied, the attack power and attack speed of weapons used by pets have been lowered to correct some values that were misapplied.

More fixes

<Bug Fixes >
The following bug related issues have been resolved.
1. The bug that is related to Orphen in the Sea of Spores has been fixed. Now Orphen will start making its appearance again.
2. The system errors regarding skill/spell learning and exchange/individual sale have been corrected.

In order to fix this problem we had to temporarily disable the functions regarding skill/spell training and exchange/individual sale function. Since the problem has been corrected, these functions are available again. We apologize for the inconvenience you may have experienced regarding these features.

3. The attack power of hand-to-hand fighting weapons and the values of attack power displayed in the information window were incorrect. This problem has been corrected.
4. The price of composite armor being sold in a boutique store has been revised to reflect correct pricing.
5. The descriptions of several items sold in the boutique store were incorrect. They have been corrected.
6. The squire's sword has had the appearance of a hand-to-hand fighting weapons. Due to this problem every time a specific skill was used the game got terminated. [translator’s note: meaning is not clear] This problem has been fixed.
7. When a character is taking off archery equipment, arrows did not get taken off automatically. This problem has been fixed.
8. Various bugs related to the 2nd class transfer quest have been fixed.
9. The problem of activating racial awareness immediately after a monster is created has been fixed.
10. Due to a bug that is related to a hand-to-hand combat weapon, the progress of orc monk’s 1st class transfer quest has been stopped without allowing further progress. This problem has been fixed.
11. During a pet quest, if the window gets closed or the game gets terminated, the player has had to start the quest from the beginning. This problem has been fixed. However, if an incident like this occurs, the character has to solve the pet related problem Martin gives from the beginning again.

< Game Tip >
In the game, if you cannot see some windows such as the acquired skills window, inventory window etc., press the Initialize the Interface button. Then, all the windows will appear in their original positions. When you cannot see a specific window, try using this method.

Since the update that was implemented on the 24th (Wed), several problems have occurred in the game. And to work on resolving these problems, since last night, frequent incidents of server-down and temporary maintenance period had to occur. We truly apologize for the inconvenience to all testers.


< Fixed bugs>
1. The problem of fist mastery’s effect not being applied correctly has been fixed.
2. The resistance of one piece type items had a much higher rate of resistance assigned to them by error. This problem has been fixed.
3. Some of the 2nd class transfer quests had erroneous explanations in their descriptions and contained errors in their procedures. They have been fixed.

Mais si on veut attirer une population hétéroclite, il vaudrait peut-être mieux traduire pour ceux qui n'ont pas les connaissances suffisantes en anglais

d'ailleurs, à croire que c'est lié à la boite de UT2004 qui traine à coté et qui prend un malin plaisir à me narguer

Mais juste en passant, ce n'est pas pour faire du sectarisme linguistique, être sélectif, et encore moins être blessant pour le plaisir, mais vu que le jeu n'est pas prévu en français pour le moment, je ne vois pas comment on pourra attirer une population autre que celle ayant un niveau d'anglais minimal. Comprends bien que la langue de base sera l'anglais et qu'il sera donc obligatoire de baragouiner ce dernier en plus de le comprendre, et donc de comprendre la majeure partie des modifications vu la faible difficulté du texte.
Ce n'est pas question de flemme, la traduction des modifications sera faite d'ici ces prochains jours soit par un membre de l'équipe, soit par moi même quand j'aurais résolu mes problèmes de pc.
Ben j'avais proposé à une époque de créer un forum privé pour les possesseurs d'un compte beta, mais je crois que je n'ai pas crié assez fort. Je vais sortir dans la rue demain pour manifester en faveur de l'ouverture d'un forum privé
Et puis le NDA s'applique pour ceux qui ont reçu un compte. Moi j'attends toujours le mien

Il s'agit d'infos qui ont été reproduites sur à peu près tous les sites publics dédiés à Linéage 2. Le patch Prélude et son contenu en résumé a été annoncé sur la page publique du site officiel.

Quant au contenu du patch Prélude, il est connu depuis longtemps et n'a rien de privé, le patch ayant déjà été appliqué sur les versions publiques coréennes, japonaises et taïwanaises. Je peux mettre la traduction en anglais depuis le coréen faite par ceux de LineageCenter, tu auras quelques différences stylistiques avec celle présente ici faite par NCSoft, mais le contenu de ce qui change avec le patch demeure le même.

Je vois toujours pas ou peut se situer le NDA dans cette béta...

le problème est que ce NDA est en effet peu respecté, quels que soient les forums et site, et que NCSoft US s'en tape un peu beaucoup royalement
c'est sur ..
sans oublier les "tain ca lag, je peux pas acceder au serveur , ça rame a mort avec mon l33t pc , ca arrete pas de planter quand je fais .. etc " qui sont eux inclus en nda

sinon, il ne faut pas faire partie de la beta pour savoir que le patch prélude à été mis , les heures de patch, le nombre et nom des serveurs et si ils sont online ou pas. tout ça est en page d'accueil sur http://www.lineage2.com et c'est tant mieux, ça rassure ceux qui attendent de savoir qu'ils auront pas les patchs avec 2 ans de retard
Effectivement, bugs & exploitation de bug (c'est anti-NDA de dire que, par rapport aux 3-4 betas tests que j'ai pu faire avant L2, y'en a quasi pas ? )

Pour ce qui est des textes traduis de la version US, c'est vrai, mais on peut quand même les retrouver dans beaucoup de sites (les quêtes en particulier).

En bref on peut pas parler des aspects techniques négatifs, et poster des screens de discussion avec les NPC quoi
