Update 24 brings you to the Vales of Anduin, where the Great River runs from its uppermost reaches down to the shores of Lothlórien. While there, visit the region's peoples, including the Wood-men and their Beorning allies, along with a certain Brown Wizard of some repute. But beware; goblins, wargs, and things fouler still roam the wilds, drawn by the legacy of the One Ring, which lay long hidden near the Anduin's banks.

Today's Bullroarer preview includes our first public look at the 64-Bit game client we are working on. You can choose which client you wish to run in the launcher settings. NOTE: The 64-bit client uses a separate file to keep client settings between the 32 and 64 bit versions separated. These include graphics settings, sound settings, some UI settings, some input settings (but not your keymap settings), and vocie chat settings. This file is called UserPreferences64.ini. Also please note, LUA is not currently supported/working with the 64 bit client. It’s something we intend to support, but it will not be ready for U24.

This preview includes a work in progress to update the Virtue system. This particular build is not yet ready for a comprehensive preview, but you can see parts of the system in place. Players can now have up to seven Virtue configurations that work in tandem with their Class Trait configurations.

• 64-bit client:
  - Added options to choose which client you want to run, this can be found in the settings of the launcher.
  - 64 bit clients use a separate UserPreferences64.ini file to keep client settings between the 32 bit and 64 bit versions separate. These include graphics settings, sound settings, a few UI settings, some input settings (but not your keymap) and voice chat settings.
• You can now have up to 7 Virtue configurations that work in tandem with your Class Trait configurations.
• Added a confirmation dialog to the Vendor's Sell All button.
• Pressing the escape key cancels targeted item usage.
• The Allegiance tracker is now scalable.
• Fixed the scrollbar on the Raid Lock panel.
• Fellowship Tradeable gear no longer loses allowed trade target information on logout.
• Fixed a bug where quest font size changes would revert back to default when quest update events were triggered.
• Fixed an issue where zooming with the mouse scroll wheel would stop working when interacting with Lua plugins.
• Added Lua event triggering of EffectRemoved and EffectCleared for selected targets.
• Added binding to Lua for various Action definitions.
• The Quest Grouping panel has been rearranged to have the Quest selection at the very top.
• The Instance Finder panel has been expanded with a new instance grouping section. The new section works similarly to Social Panel Quest Grouping in that you can create or join up to 5 entries that are persisted on your character. The new instance grouping section replaces the functionality of the Simple and Advanced tabs of the Instance Finder panel, and those tabs have been removed. Clicking "Show All" will show up to 100 entries. Clicking "My Instances" will show only the instances that you have either joined or created. Members are automatically removed from an entry when entering the specific encounter space for the first time.
• The player command /lfp has been changed to /lfq (Looking for Quest Grouping).
• Added new player command /lfi (Looking for Instance Grouping).
• Fixed item socket replacement confirmation dialog to show the correct order.
• When bound essences are slotted into equipment on the Socket Control Panel, the equipment becomes similarly bound.
• Shift+F is no longer mapped to the Instance Finder.
• Screenshots will now be saved using a timestamp, rather than an incrementing number.
• Updated the Instance Finder tutorial and added a tutorial hint button to the Instance Finder panel.
• Up to 200 Epic Battle Promotion Points can now be obtained via the Promotion Points +10 offer on the LOTRO Store.
• Albra Lowbanks is no longer invisible.
• Most items involved with quests in the Ironfold and Grey Mountains can now be used while mounted.
• 'Unfriendly Eyes in Ost Forod' should now advance correctly for a Fellowship that carries the chest together.
• Fixed the weapon-swapping issue for an NPC involved in 'Prologue: The Hideout'
• Polished up 'The Battle Under the Trees' sessionplay for the Court of Lothlorien Allegiance:
  - Additional directions added to the quest to improve the flow of the instance
  - Thinned out the monster spawns and moved them closer to cut down on travel time
  - Galadriel's animations have been adjusted during the first part of the instance
  - Mirkwood Archers now lead the way up the hill during the second part of the instance
• The pace of 'Frodo's Burden' has been greatly improved. Our Ringbearer still discusses the same subjects, but he doesn't take so long to get to the point.
• If you have already completed all of his adventures, George at Sandson's Farm might just have something new for those feeling a bit peckish.
• Removing unintended On-removal effect from Hunter Essence of Freedom.
• Renaming the "Laketown Outhouse" to the more era appropriate "Laketown Boghouse"
• Melee range skills now have a base range of 3.5m up from 2.5m.
• Beorning - Healing %'s for Vigilant Roar IA bonuses have been corrected.
• Guardian - T5 Tenderize bonus has been corrected so that it is larger than T4.
• Guardian - 'Fighter of Shadow' spec no longer incorrectly grants AoE flash of light with the base spec.
• Minstrel - Mastery bonuses from the Minstrel Trait "Strength of Helm Hammerhand" have been significantly improved.

1 - Connectez vous sur votre compte classique, cliquez sur transfert, sélectionnez le serveur sur lequel se trouve le personnage à copier vers Bullroarer



2 - Sélectionnez le personnage a transférer (le plus simple est de cliquer sur tout sélectionner)



3 - Sélectionner "Copier vers Bullroarer"



Vous pouvez vous connecter avec votre personnage préféré sur Bullroarer.
En général la copie est effacée à chaque nouveau test de mise à jour.

J'ai essayer réparer, mode administrateur. J'ai réinstaller. Mais rien! Dès qu'il veut télécharger il met erreur ressaye dans 60 seconde!

Il y a eu cette après midi des problèmes sur les serveurs de patch et d'authentification, cela devrait être réglé.

Nous avons corrigé un problème empechant certains joueurs de s'authentifier ou de patcher, nous continuons de travailler pour le solutionner. Il est réglé pour beaucoup de joueurs, pour le reste il faut attendre la propagation des informations de DNS. https://t.co/6IN7zMMNPm

• Increasing Monsterplay melee skill range to 3.5m
• Increasing melee range of captain skills from 2.5m -> 3.5m
• New timestamp format for screenshots. "YYYY-mm-dd_HHMMSS"
• Quest: The Crone's Ferry - the old river woman is slightly taller
• Quest: Heritage Restored - a speed buff is now given to players during the quest to make it slightly more forgiving of a run
• Enedwaith - Rhus Cornchuthur should be giving out quests again
• Bird and Baby Inn - Ivy Tunnelly's brief stint as a Mote Craft Trader didn't go so well, seeing as she didn't have any inventory to back up the gig. Ivy has returned to her full-time job as a barkeep!
• Fixed a typo in 'The Mastermind's Minion.'
• Sky rendering on top of landscape in character select load has been fixed.
• Burglar:
  - Gamble Chance now provides a chance that any gamble applied will upgrade itself by a tier after application.
  - Even the Odds buffs extended [15->20s]

  - Self-Adulation bonus to Clever Retort healing increased [20->25%].
  - Self-Adulation no longer incorrectly states that it provides a pulse bonus to Mischievous Glee (which isn't a HoT).
• Virtues: The virtue system now advances through virtue experience, allowing you to select the virtue that will benefit from your deed completions. Open the Traits panel (J) and navigate to the redesigned Virtues tab to examine your virtues, select an earning virtue, and slot the virtues you would like active.
  - Upon logging in a character copied from live, your existing virtues will version into the new virtue system.
  - All virtues now offer an additional passive bonus, allowing you to benefit from your earned virtues even when that virtue is not actively slotted.
  - Virtues have been rebalanced to offer more relevant stats and to offer some offensive options.
  - A new virtue, Wit, has been added to the game.
  - Deeds that previously awarded specific virtue ranks now award virtue xp. This virtue experience will be directed to your ‘earning’ virtue. If you do not have an earning virtue or that virtue has reached its maximum rank, then virtue experience will be funneled to your first active virtue that can accept additional experience.
  - Eyes & Guard Tavern: Temerity in the tavern currently offers a single Virtue Rank-up quest. This quest will award a large chunk of virtue xp. If you are trying to rank up a specific virtue, make sure to select that virtue as your ‘earning’ virtue before completing the quest.
  

Known Issue:

• Please note that passive bonuses from virtues are currently using placeholder values.

Il faudrait voir les logs mais en général c'est le fichier client_highres.dat qui pose ce soucis, il suffit de l'effacer, le launcher va le télécharger de nouveau, si ca ne fonctionne pas je t'invite à m'envoyer tes logs comme mentionné ici

Vu que cela fait 8Go à télécharger, je pense que je saurai si ça fonctionne demain.

MàJ : cela a fini par fonctionner après une longue mise à jour du client.
Concernant le 64b (puisque c'est ce qu'il m'intéressait de tester), aucun changement dans les lags sur monture de guerre, je pense que le seul avantage sera la fin des "memory leaks" qui causaient des crashes après un certain temps de jeu. A moins qu'ils puissent s'appuyer sur cette architecture pour améliorer la gestion graphique dans la liaison client-serveur (mais j'ai un gros doute).

Selon le stream de Cordovan de ce soir, cette dernière session de Bullroarer devrait être disponible mardi 28 mai.

Concernant le système de vertus :

• Toutes les prouesses qui donnent actuellement un point spécifique de vertu vont maintenant donner de l'Xp de vertu qui pourra être assigné par le joueur à une vertu spécifique
• une nouvelle vertu Writ a été ajouté
• Les statistiques de ces vertus seront dans l'ensemble meilleures que celles qu'elles sont actuellement
• Les joueurs qui ont gagnés des rangs de vertu qui n'étaient pas exprimés (NdK du fait du blocage du nouveau maximum des vertus) gagneront un crédit lors de l'arrivée de la MàJ 24
• Il y aura un cap sur les vertus en fonction du niveau du personnage, ceci incluant les passifs des vertus non équipées
• Il y aura plusieurs façons de gagner de l'XP de vertu incluant les prouesses, des quêtes répétables, des quêtes de festival, et des challenges dans les instances de la semaine
• Les vertus ne sont plus disponibles dans le magasin SdAO, tous les tomes de vertus déjà detenus par les joueurs se transformeront en gain d'XP de vertu.
• Pour les articles qui contenaient avant la MàJ 24 :
  
  • les tomes de vertus les boîtes à butin seront remplacés par un objet donnant 1000 XP de vertus
  • le Don des Valar (niveau 50) donnera cinq objets à 20 000 points d'XP de vertu et 10 à 10 000 XP de vertu.
  • la bénédiction des Valar (niveau 95) donnera 20 objets à 20 000 XP de vertu
  • l'Aria des Valar (niveau 105) donnera cinq objets à 70 000 XP de vertu et 15 objets à 20 000 XP de vertu.
  • Ces objets devront être acquis via une quête qui sera activée après avoir utilisé

Black Book of Mordor


The storyline of the Black Book of Mordor continues with two more chapters! Pushed to the limit by the attack of Karazgar, the Weeping Warrior, and fearing his promised return, the dwarves of Skarháld attempt to fortify their position in the Grey Mountains. If you have completed 'Chapter 8.7: The First Promise,' you can pick up Chapter 9 by speaking with Durin on the upper level of Skarháld. This storyline will guide you to the Vales of Anduin once your business with the dwarves has been resolved.

• The healing percentage for Vigilant Roar Legendary Item bonuses have been corrected.
• Burglar:
  
  • Gamble Chance now provides a chance that any gamble applied will upgrade itself by a tier after application.
  • Even the Odds has had its buffs extended from 15 to 20 seconds, and had its progressions updated.
  • Clever Retort's Self-Adulation bonus has been increased from 20 to 25%, and it no longer incorrectly states that it provides a pulse bonus to Mischievous Glee.

• The Battle Under the Trees Session Play for the Court of Lothlórien Allegiance has been updated:

Virtues

• The Virtue system has been updated. The system now advances through Virtue Experience, allowing you to select the Virtue that will benefit from your Deed completions. Open the Traits Panel with (J) to navigate to the redesigned Virtues tab to examine your Virtues, select an earning Virtue, and slot any Virtues you would like active.
  
  • All Deeds that currently grant a specific Virtue will instead grant Virtue XP that can be assigned by players to a Virtue of their choice.
  • A new Virtue, Wit, has been added to the game.
  • The stats are in the vast majority of cases going to be better than they were previously.
  • Players who earned Virtue ranks that could not be previously expressed will gain credit when Update 24 is released.
  • Virtue benefits will be capped based on character level, including the non-Slotted Virtues' passive benefits.
  • There are numerous ways to gain Virtue XP, including Deeds, end-game repeatable quests, Festival Quests, and Featured Challenges.
    
    • Virtues have been unpublished from the LOTRO Store, and are no longer available to purchase. All currently-held Virtue Tomes will convert into items that grant Virtue XP.
    • For items that contained Virtues prior to the release of Update 24:
      
      • Virtue Tomes found in old rare loot boxes will be replaced with an item that grants 1,000 Virtue XP.
      • The Gift of the Valar (Level 50) will give five items that grant 20,000 Virtue XP, and 10 items that give 10,000 Virtue XP.
      • The Blessing of the Valar (Level 95) will give 20 items that grant 20,000 Virtue XP.
      • The Aria of the Valar (Level 105) will give five items that give 70,000 Virtue XP, and 15 items that give 20,000 Virtue XP.
      • The Virtue XP items from the Valars are acquired via a quest after consuming the Valar item.
        

UI

A separate set of client preferences (userpreferences.ini) for the 64 bit client will be created to allow players to have different graphics settings for the different clients if desired.
• The sky in the landscape during Character Selection has been fixed.

Update 24 brings you to the Vales of Anduin, where the Great River courses down through Wilderland to the shores of Lothlórien. Help the Woodmen defend their lands from the goblins and wargs of the Misty Mountains. Delve into the region’s fabled past, when it was home to Dwarves, Elves, and the ancestors of the hobbits and Rohirrim. Seek the aid of the Beornings and Great Eagles – as well as a certain Brown Wizard of some repute. But beware: foul things still roam the woods and marshes, some drawn by the legacy of the One Ring, which lay long hidden near the Anduin’s banks. Update 24 is Free to VIP players and Lifetime Subscribers, and available in the LOTRO Store.

Today's Bullroarer preview includes the 64-Bit game client we are working on. You can choose which client you wish to run in the launcher settings.
NOTE: The 64-bit client uses a separate file to keep client settings between the 32 and 64 bit versions separated. These include graphics settings, sound settings, some UI settings, some input settings (but not your keymap settings), and vocie chat settings. This file is called UserPreferences64.ini. Also please note, LUA is not currently supported/working with the 64 bit client. It’s something we intend to support, but it will not be ready for U24.

The Virtue system has been updated further, see release notes below for details.

• Virtues:
  - Deeds that used to award a virtue will now award 2000 virtue experience. Deeds that used to award two virtue ranks will now award 4000 virtue experience.
  - Featured Challenge quests and the Vales of Anduin endgame weekly quests offer virtue xp as an additional reward.
  - Summer Festival: Forgotten Errands, Too Much Festival, Thrâng's Challenge, and the Heat of Summer wrappers now award virtue xp.
  - Fall: Valuables Gone Astray, Gourds and Goblins, and the Bountiful Harvest wrappers now award virtue xp.
  - Yule: The Traitor's Loyalty, Seasonal: Storvâgûn's Riches, and the Festive Flurry wrappers now award virtue xp.
  - Spring: A Fistful of Flowers, Pretty Parched Party-goers!, and the Bustling Bloom wrappers now award virtue xp.
  - Anniversary: The Yearly Yield wrappers now award virtue xp.
  - Eyes & Guard Tavern: Temerity once again has 3 different virtue quests. Each will award you some virtue xp for your earning virtue and an assortment of virtue xp items.
• Lootbox: Armour and Jewellery of the Traveller, when received by a character level 105 - 115, will have some Light of Eärendil.
• Fellowship Markers can now be assigned by Raid Assistants.
• Beorning - Composure/Hearten and Ferocious Roar will no longer be potentially slowed down by attack speed buffs.
• Beorning - Eliminated some accidental gender inconsistencies in these skills animation speeds.
• Beorning - Shake Free no longer uses the wrong SFX for bear/human form.
• Beorning - All Beorning melee skills updated to have at least 3.5m range.
• Guardian - Hammerdown tooltip now correctly reflects stun health threshold both with and without set bonuses.
• Guardian - Adaptability buff is no longer removed incorrectly by response chain skills - only the base response skills remove this buff.

Une nouvelle instance ?

C'est ce qu'indique le pack de quête, du coup la région sera gratuite pour les VIP et coûtera 1495 Points SdAO pour les autres joueurs.
Pour l'instance elle n'est pas indiquée dans les notes de version, elle n'apparait pas non plus dans le chercheur d'instances, elle pourrait arriver du coup avec une MàJ 24.X Severlin nous avait bien dit que cette région nous occuperait jusqu'à la sortie de la prochaine extension.

Cordovan précise que la MàJ 24 contiendra bien une instance à 6 joueurs ajoutant quêtes répétables, elle sortira plus tard cet été.
