Nouvelle mise à jour, désolé c'est en anglais.
We decided to go with #2, after some waffling back and forth. It's the right thing to do for the long term. The skill tree remains the same as above. Here is the current plan:
Previously, an Elementalist could have a total of 2 pets of any type. Now they will be distinguished by category. The Elementalist can have at most one from each of these categories:
o Sand Fury or Sand Warrior
o Sand Fiend or Guardian Spirit
o Thunderstorm, Volcanic Rift, Incendiary Cloud, Hurricane
o Sand Goliath (level 60 hero pet)
Thus it’s possible to have up to three pets at once (four if you count the Sand Goliath), but never two of the same pet (or two from the same category).
Winter’s Chill: level 15, 5 credits
Range increased to 40m.
Sand Fury: level 20, 2 credits
The Sand Fury replaces the Sand Slave. This is a walking bomb – when the Sand Slave dies, it explodes in a rain of sand, doing AoE damage in a 7m radius and reducing targets’ attack skills by 10 (L1) – 100 (L50) – 200 (L150) for 30 seconds.
Volcanic Rift: level 25, 2 credits
- Duration is still 60 seconds.
- Reset time is now 60 seconds.
- The Rift’s attack is grenade-like in that it succeeds in doing an AoE explosion even if it Misses its target.
- Defensive skills increase each level up to 50; at level 50 they have 150 more defensive skill than before.
- Pet scales to 150. Fire DoT scales to 1 (L1) – 75 (L150) per second.
Thunderstorm: level 25, 2 credits
- This pet now moves and follows pet commands.
- Duration is still 60 seconds.
- Reset time is 60 seconds.
- Thunderstorm now does 5*level damage.
- Defensive skills increase each level up to 50; at level 50 they have 150 more defensive skill than before.
- Pet scales to 150. Vigor drain attack does not scale past 50.
Elemental Reconstruction: level 25, 2 credits
This pet-heal skill is reworked to be more practical. The skill affects any owned Sand Furies, Sand Warriors, Sand Fiends, or Guardian Spirits within 20m of the caster. Reset time is 5 seconds. All pets are healed 50 (L1) – 500 (L50) – 1000 (L150). Vigor cost becomes 400.
Eruption: level 30, 3 credits
This skill’s bonus damage increases to 12 (L1) – 260 (L50) – 780 (L150).
Ambient Energy: level 30, 2 credits
- The % chance for the effect to apply to attackers increases to 20% (L1) – 50% (L50). (On success, drains 30 (L1) – 300 (L50) – 600 (L100) vigor.)
- Credit cost becomes 2 instead of 3.
Sand Warrior: level 30, 3 credits
The Sand Minion is replaced by the Sand Warrior – the Sand Warrior’s debuff applies a runspeed debuff as it did previously. Always applies on each hit. The Sand Warrior can attack from up to 20 meters away.
Guardian Spirit: level 30, 3 credits
This pet now scales to 150. Attack-speed buff does not increase past level 50. Heal effect scales: 4 (L1) – 200 (L50) – 500 (L150).
Incendiary Cloud: level 35, 3 credits
- Duration is still 60 seconds.
- Reset time is now 60 seconds.
- Damage becomes 3 * level.
- Damage is 100% armor and shield-bypassing.
- Defensive skills increase each level up to 50; at level 50 they have 150 more defensive skill than before.
Hurricane: level 35, 3 credits
- Duration is still 60 seconds.
- Reset time is now 60 seconds.
- The Hurricane now moves and follows pet commands.
- Damage is increased from 2 points per level to 5 points per level.
- The hurricane now applies a Water effect that reduces combat speed by 5% (L1) – 35% (L50). The effect lasts for 15 seconds.
- The skill does NOT perform a knockback.
- Defensive skills increase each level up to 50; at level 50 they have 150 more defensive skill than before.
Enrage Elemental: level 35, 3 credits
This pet-damage-buff skill is reworked to be more practical. The skill affects any owned Sand Furies, Sand Warriors, or Sand Fiends within 20m of the caster. Duration becomes 60 seconds; reset time is 60 seconds. Each attack from the enraged sand pets do extra damage of 20 (L1) – 200 (L50) – 600 (L150). Vigor cost becomes 400.
Since this is our first pass with the new plan, we anticipate some changes will be necessary after playtesting.
