Provient du forum TL : shaman in 1.61
<<Overview: There have been very few changes in the Shaman class however we have not had a full-blown report in quite some time. Here it is.
Mending Issues
Shaman’s definition of a class is Clerical, Provided by you, Mythic. This Definition, states that we are a 1.0x spec point class. Our mending Line is not congruent with the drawbacks of a 1.0x spec point class.
The Mending line is under utilized and underpowered. Shaman are a 1.0x Spec class and as a Clerical Class (which we are labeled by Mythic) Our mending line does not compare in the slightest with the other 1.0x Clerical Classes (Healer, Cleric, Druid).
There is no reason for a Shaman to take Mending over 15 for the second resurrection spell. Friggs is not useful during combat due to the way it ticks. We are in dire need of something in addition to the Mending line we currently have.
By implementing the following the Mending line will be suited for a 1.0x Spec class:
a) Add a True HoT spell, both Single Target and Group Versions.
Single Target
8 Minor Refresh Friend 2.8s/30s/0s Rng: 2000 29 h 10 power
14 Major Refresh Friend 2.8s/30s/0s Rng: 2000 42 h 15 power
18 Refresh Friend 2.8s/30s/0s Rng: 2000 53 h 20 power
23 Greater Refresh Friend 2.8s/30s/0s Rng: 2000 85 h 24 power
26 Superior Refresh Friend 2.8s/30s/0s Rng: 2000 138 h 27 power
34 Pious Refresh Friend 2.8s/30s/0s Rng: 2000 158 h 30 power
44 Ymir’s Refresh Friend 2.8s/30s/0s Rng: 2000 231 h 45 power
Group
27 Minor Restore Group 2.8s/30s/0s Rng: 2000 85 h 56 power
33 Major Restore Group 2.8s/30s/0s Rng: 2000 110 h 72 power
47 Greater Restore Group 2.8s/30s/0s Rng: 2000 155 h 98 power
b) Add a single and group target Shout Heal on a short timer. The Singe Target Shout Heals would progress as follows (based on the base heal line):
5 Refinement Friend 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 26 h 6 power
7 Improvement Friend 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 36 h 8 power
10 Reconstitution Friend 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 50 h 11 power
13 Amelioration Friend 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 65 h 13 power
17 Purification Friend 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 85 h 17 power
22 Recovery Friend 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 109 h 21 power
28 Reparation Friend 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 138 h 27 power
33 Restoration Friend 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 158 h 30 power
37 Reconstruction Friend 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 183 h 35 power
45 Emendation Friend 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 231 h 45 power
c) The Group would progress as follows (based on the baseline Group heals):
15 Group Reparation Group 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 35 h 18 power
25 Group Purification Group 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 55 h 22 power
35 Group Restoration Group 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 75 h 25 power
45 Group Emendation Group 0s/0s/30s Rng: 2000 95 h 26 power
Shaman, Healer and Druid Cure spells have a range of 1000. Bard, Friar and Cleric Cure spells have a range of 1500. This is unfair. Please increase the range to 1500 for all classes capable of casting cure spells.
All healing spells need tweaks to power costs so that the higher level heals are more power efficient than the lower ones.
Augmentation Issues
The Augmentation line is very powerful and currently well balanced. With the addition of the Cap changes as well as the fixing of the Damage Add, it is in my opinion that the Augmentation spec line is nearly complete.
Hiberina (Mentalist) and Albion (Sorcerer) both have single target timed Power buffs. This is a spell that is lacking for Midgard. As Shaman have been labeled Midgards main buffer it would make sense to add it to the Augmentation line.
A question that has been posed to me several times and I have never received an answer is “Why is the Shaman Damage Add listed at 4 for the highest level, when Albion and Hiberina both have 10’s for the highest level. In addition to having to spec for the Damage add, ours is less effective. What was the reasoning behind this implementation?"
Cave Issues
Escape spells
Shaman lack a suitable escape. Even the PBAoE Disease you have provided us is not suitable enough as there are several issues with it.
The snare is not enough to get away from our targets in RvR. For PvE it is 100% fine but RvR is a different beast altogether. The snare needs to be upped and the time it lasts needs to be reduced. Reduce the Duration to 30s for the highest level and increase the snare from 15% to 35% on all of them and we will have an escape spell.
In order to receive the only chance of escape you MUST spec to 27 in the Cave line. This is completely unfair to any Shaman in the Battlegrounds. Add in lower versions of this spell at lower levels of Cave so that younger Shaman also has an escape spell.
Shaman have a hard time playing with other Shaman.
This is largely due to the lack of Defense in the Mend Line and the inability of the 2 Shamen to cast DoT that work together (as DoT’s are our primary weapon). If you were to stick 8 of any other single class together they would be able to fight and work in a suitable fashion. 8 Shaman Do not have that luxury. If Shaman are to work together we need some way of doing it more than every 20 seconds. The timer on the DD has to be removed even if it means increasing casting times and power costs.
Bolts are considered by many to be completely useless in RVR. Bolts show a very high loss of damage as the Armor Factor of the target goes up. They can also be blocked by an attacker, be partially blocked by a shield, can miss completely, are affected by spell resists, and on top of that, they have a 20 second recast timer, and a very slow cast time. There are just too many factors involved in the damage calculations for bolts. They effective make bolts useless versus anyone who isn’t a blue or lower con caster. Many Shaman do not even have the Bolt on their spell bar due to the ineffectiveness of the spell. Bolts right now are sub-standard to all other froms of damage. Therrek and Taldren have done a lot of research on bolts vs. af damage (as well as other things) and I thank them for it as it effects us as well. (Above Paraphrased from the wizard report)
Bugs
Line-of-Sight spells give a "target cannot be seen" error on targets when you are turning quickly at the end of the cast. This affects Shaman when they use /face on a mob/player that runs through them at the moment of casting
Resisted roots/diseases/bolts/DoTs should not break mez, just as missed swings do not break mez.
PBAoE disease does not tell you what targets were diseased.
Reported when the new icons first went in and still apparent. The Sickening Spores and Infectious Spores lines do not have a picture on the spells list page. The icon appears when you click it to place on the hotkey bar and on the bar itself, just not in the list.
The damage from Ichor of the Deep is too haphazard: against low grays, it can do up to 810 damage, but against a typical yellow it does 50-150 damage. Perhaps Ichor’s damage component should check against the Cave skill of the caster, rather than doing a “skill 0” check
Things that would be nice additions
Color code the group and mini window so that it is obvious when group members have status ailments that can be cured. The suggestions on the Druid TL report are ideal - Green for Poison, Orange for Disease and Yellow for Mez. It would also be useful to perhaps add a letter to the bar (i.e. a P for poison a D for disease and a M for mez for our players who are color blind)
Rather than giving Shaman a hodge-podge amalgamation of all spells, could we have them organized by type like the RM/SM spell lists? That way we could even cast older "extinct" spells if we choose to. This applies to all (Clerical classes.) >>
