  1. Warlander FAQ
    What is Warlander?
Warlander is an action-packed, third-person, online-multiplayer game, with a unique style that mashes a Medieval-inspired setting, Fantastical items and abilities…and…EVEN POWERFUL ROBOTS!

Featuring intense competitive skirmishes and epic castle siege warfare with up to 100 players, you must use the almighty powers of god-like Warriors, Clerics, and Mages, as well as siege weapons and cataclysmic spells to control the battlefield.

To be victorious, you must work as a team, defend your Keep, and tactically break into the enemy’s stronghold to destroy their core!

What game modes are available in Warlander?
Warlander is launching with a 2 Army Battle Mode for up to 40 players and a 5 Army Battle Mode for up to 100 players, as well as a Training Area to practice your abilities and technique.

What kind of customization is available in Warlander?
Create an eclectic roster of deeply tailored class-based characters, each with their own loadout of rarity-based and customizable equipment, skills, and talents, as well as emotes, and dance moves.

  2. [19:34]
How can you play the different Classes? How can you switch between them?
You can create a character of any class at any time in the character tab. Once you create a character you must add it to one of your decks. When you start a match you will choose the deck of characters that you would like to play during that match. Characters without Titles can be deployed at any time during a match, while characters with Titles can only be used when a specific in-game valor level has been hit. Valor is earned by defeating enemies, building devices, and completing objectives. During a match press “warp” at any time to deploy a new character or warp to any controlled towers.

How does Class leveling work/individual character leveling?
Outside of the game, each character levels up individually by being used in matches and earning Valor. Leveling up a character’s out-of-game Valor level will reward the player with higher-tier Titles which can then be equipped by the character to make them more powerful. Higher-tier titles allow for a wider variety of power and customization options, but to balance things, Titled characters cannot be deployed at the start of a match, but instead, only after the related Valor level has been reached in the session. There is also a higher respawn cool-down for Titled characters.

    How can I play Warlander?
Warlander is F2P and is available via Steam. Gen 9 consoles to follow.

  3. [19:38]
    Is Warlander multiplayer?
Yes, Warlander is an online multiplayer game with up to 100 players in a 5 Army Battle match. Ülayers can solo queue or queue in a squad of up to 4 players. You can also check out the Training Area at any time by yourself.

    Is Warlander pay-to-win?
No. We do not sell items that give a competitive advantage.

What are the Windows PC system specs for Warlander?
    Minimum Specification:

Today we welcome you to join us in the Warland and to fight alongside us in this epic adventure we call game development!

We can only take the battle so far on our own and we look to you to help us in our quest to make Warlander the best game it can be. Since you have been chosen by the mystical Heralds to enlist your support, we want you to know how grateful we are that you have pledged your consciousness to Warlander!

That brings us to the details of our endeavor:

Open Beta
The Open Beta is planned to release today lundi 12 septembre 2022 17:00. We will do our best to make this a smooth experience, but outside of the Developers, Publisher, Select Media, and some close friends and family, this is the first time anyone new will jump into the Warland. We ask that you please be patient with the process of getting everyone into the game for the first time. As exciting as this is, and as much as we don’t anticipate any issues, it is a beta, so please keep that in mind. The point of the Open Beta is to continue our technical/stress tests in a live environment and to gather critical feedback, feature and design ideas, and collect bug reports.

This Open Beta will be conducted via Steam Playtests which means that we are not able to include any monetization aspects in the game currently, for example the Season Pass. Because of this, we will have a muti-phase roll out pre-release. Progress will be wiped after the Open Beta, but we are working on providing a set of goodies that should make up for that. The Open Beta will run for about one month. From there we will transition into a short Early Access phase.

Early Access
The Early Access phase is planned to run from October through to the release in December. The point of this short Early Access phase is to continue to gather critical feedback, feature and design ideas, and collect bug reports, as well as introduce our monetization features.

We want to make sure that you guys are happy with our plans for monetization as well as the content and rewards that you will get in return and this Early Access period will allow you time to provide feedback on these aspects.

No progress will be lost after Early Access as we roll into the official release on PC in December.

PC Release

PC Release is planned for December of 2022. Further details will follow as we march through the Open Beta.

Console Release

Console release is planned for after the PC release. Further details will follow as we march through the Open Beta.
