Here is some helpful information to help you get started in Beta:

How to provide testing feedback:

• Use the /bug or /feedback command in game to open a window and submit information
• Post issues and suggestions right here in the PoP Beta forums!
  

How to set up a test character for Beta:

• The beta buff merchant is available in the Plane of Magic.
• Grab gear to kick off your questing from the merchant at the Spires.
  

How to copy your character over to the Beta server:

• Log in your character and then type the /beta command.
  

To patch and get into the Beta servers:

• Open your station Launchpad
• In the top-left corner, click the 'Version' link which will open the 'Select Game Version' panel
• Choose 'Beta' in the drop-down menu and then hit 'Apply' to begin patching
• Hit 'Play' once the patching completes
  

Other Key Points:

• Beta installs into a subfolder that takes about the same space as your live game version.
• Remember to set the 'Version' back to your regular setting to access your normal server.
• The Beta server may not be accessible at all times, as patching will occur when it is necessary.
• The Beta server may be wiped periodically, meaning Beta characters can be deleted with or without notice.

Hello everyone!

And welcome to the Planes of Prophecy beta. Here are some details about what we are doing and where our goals are to accomplish beta testing.

For the first week, only the overland zone will be available, and of course all quests, collections, etc in the overland. To get to the Plane of Magic, you will need to use any of the spires available in Norrath. If you need gear or buffing, this will also be provided.

To get gear, see Tishan’s Lockbox. This feature will actually be staying in game as a feature for alts and new and returning players to utilize for starting gear.

Planes of Prophecy Quests will reward Tithe Points and Ascension Scrolls throughout the large lines.

Many profession spells from level 101 to 110 have been reworked, please make sure to test and give feedback via. /feedback.


The experience curve from 100 to 110 has been greatly increased and there has been a corresponding PoP experience increase coming from PoP quests and completed PoP dungeons. There greatest amount of XP should come from here. Experience multipliers will also now modify quest experience. For example your vitality will now increase the amount of experience from all sources.

J'ai fait un tour sur Thurgadin pour revoir mes anciens persos et eventuellement profiter de l'extension (achetee), mais frappe par leur complexité et n'y comprenant plus rien je me suis rappelé ces vers de Victor Hugo :

Et l'homme au bout de la spirale descendu
Sent le vent de l'abîme et recule éperdu.

Je suis donc sagement revenu sur Fallen Gates avec ma Warden 14 (lol).

Je te remercie mais je préfère réapprendre mes classes; en fait c'est le levelling que j'aime
Et puis Fallen Gate me rappelle les débuts d'eq2 bien qu'un certain nombre de choses a change.

Nop pas le choix, mais bon cela reste relativement rapide (en gros 2min)

J'ai des persos aux 2 endroits (US et EU) et le seul moyen de switcher "rapidement" a été de me créer 2 installations différentes. L'installeur EQ2 permet une "new install", il suffit de lui indiquer un dossier différent.. Seul prérequis, avoir de la place sur le disque dur car tout est multiplié par 2

• Legacy of Power: Secrets in an Arcane Land - Druzzil Ro can now only be seen for particular steps of the signature quest line.
• Legacy of Power: Hero's Devotion - Speaking with Mithaniel Marr is now a group update.
